Choco Stomach Clog
Healthy Paws was really helpful with following up the claims with me and also getting in touch with the local vet that I take my dog to. Both sides worked hard to get the claim resolved and even received a nice follow up email to see how my dog was doing. Definitely glad I got insurance for my Dog. Since you never know what will happen. Our dog somehow got into our laundry and ate the dryer sheet which eventually clogged his intestine which made him vomit all day and shivering. He couldn't sleep as he was restless, tossing and turning so we took him to the ER and they had to perform surgery. Not knowing that it was a dryer sheet at the time, we were worried that he ate something worse. The vet bill ended up being a couple thousand dollars. I'm glad health paws was there. Thank you healthy paws!

Part of a Healthy Life for my Dogs
Two dogs/Yorkie Poodle mix. My Vet recommended ASPCA and we have been with them ever since. Only difficulty has been with the web site/password.

Don't believe what you read on their web site
This is the worst insurance company. They do reimburse like they describe on their website. They hunt and hunt and hunt to find a reason to reject a claim (it takes over a month for them to get back to you about the claim). It is very frustrating as I was very upfront with them about pre-existing conditions my cat had (he has gum disease). He got sick about 1-1/2 years into the policy, unable to eat, bad stomach. They rejected the medical bills (which were very large) said it was a pre-existing condition. What a bunch of liars and cheats. I feel stupid for believing all the wonderful reviews on their web site.

Most excellent in all regards
I made a lot of comparisons before choosing ASPCA insurance. The company has in all respects been efficient and fair in its reimbursement determinations. My dog has recurring urinary infections and eye infections often requiring recurring vet visits. ASPCA has paid all claims fairly and promptly--exactly what I was seeking.

we have been "embraced" since 2009
Petunia, my boston terrier, has been plagued by allergies this season. visits to my vet and emergency vet at 1:30 am were covered and paid by Embrace with a short turnaround. She is feeling so much better. I am very very happy to be able to go to the internet portal to check on past and present claims. this is a wonderful feature.

Peace of mind
My Princess had a sore on her vulva that worried me. It didn't go away so the vet treated her for a UTI and gave me some topical ointment. She still kept bothering it so we finally did a biopsy which was undetermined. Eventually we went through two more antibiotic regiments and it finally resolved. But knowing it wasn't cancer, stones, or Brucellosis gave me great peace of mind. The insurance was right on the spot with their response and how they handled my claim. I am very happy with the people that you talk to on the phone. One of the nicest customer service group that I have ever had the pleasure to work with.

Nothing But A Scam
One of the most scamming and unethical insurance companies I've ever had the displeasure to work with. The first claim I make, a small claims under $300, they keep telling me I'm fine and I'll be covered. I decided not to renew my coverage, so then I wait a month and keep following up on my claim, and then I finally get a phone call telling me my claim was denied because of some reason they literally just made up on the fly, saying I had to activate my insurance within 24 hours of adopting my dog but the shelter waited a few days to activate it. Because of this Trupanion claimed my coverage is null and void and that there's nothing I can do. They literally made up a reason to void claim because I decided not to continue my coverage way after I filed the claim, when they told me for a fact beforehand I'd be covered, and on a side note, they kept pressuring me and notifying me to renew my coverage. Worst insurance company, nothing but a huge scam, and they care nothing for your dog or their clients; the only thing that matters is their pocket and screwing their customers.
