Why Do You Not Yet Have Insurance???
I was initially interested in pet insurance after watching my brother nearly go bankrupt after his two dogs had separate liver and spine issues. My future mother-in-law raved about Healthypaws, but being my future mother-in-law, I took what she had to say with a grain of salt. I initially reviewed my options and really only considered the price. Laurie, my future mother-in-law constantly proclaimed how easy the claim paperwork was (you can seriously just drag and drop a pdf file...), and how quickly she was reimbursed. She had had quite the experience because her pit/lab had blown out both his ACLs... You will always wonder if insurance is worth it until you need it.Fast forward 10 months, and we now have two dogs, that are both covered. We notice that my lab/shepherd has a limp but I assume it is nothing more than a pulled muscle. Three weeks later, with no progress, we determine that she has blown out her ACL as well! As a note, we pay for 90% coverage with a $100 deductible. From initial consult to completion of surgery, we have paid approximately $480. The total cost of the surgery was over $3,800... Here is where Healthpaws really stood out to me. First, they paid the cost of the surgery up front. I never even had to file a claim to be reimbursed, so at the vet I paid only my 10%. Second, I have received multiple personal emails from members of their service team following up on the progress of my dog. It is a level of service that is rarely found and truly refreshing. Healthpaws is clearly a company where the employees embody their mission and values. I have decided to create a second income stream for myself by referring as many people as I can to them, because I am truly believe they are the best on the market.

The best animal insurance!
Embrace is great! Getting animal insurance with them was the best decision we made! They pay our wellness check up, hastle free. Our dog had to have surgery for her broken leg and they cover 80% of the total, they also sent us the claim check surprisingly quick. If it wasn't for Embrace we wouldn't be able to pay for everything. I definitely recomend them! The only detail that you have to keep in mind is that you have to be organized and send your claims. Other then that, they are quick and reinburse you for the right amount!

Takes the Stress out of having an ill pet
I love our Trupanion insurance. My dog was diagnosed with Cushings and over the past year has generated over $1000 in medical bills. With 2 kids in college, the additional expenses would have been difficult to absorb. Thanks to Trupanion, I don't stress out and worry about the bills every time my dog needs medication or follow-up testing. They pay promptly and customer service is excellent!

Easy to work with
We have a lab puppy who after 3 weeks of having him ate one of our kids toys! After an overnight visit at the vet, x-rays, and medications we were faced with a huge bill. Thankfully the vet submitted our claim to Trupanion with the documentation and without any questions we received a check in the mail for the exactly the amount we had planned for. We paid our deductible and co-insurance. Trupanion is high cost than other programs we looked at however after such a great experience it is likely we will stay put!

Great service
Embrace has an amazing turnaround time for refunding your claims. Whether it is accident/illness or wellness, they are quick to get your check in the mail. My dogs are elderly and one was recently diagnosed with a chronic illness. Although Teddy was denied coverage at first for his Cushings Disease, he has since been reinstated after a short appeal process and a letter from his vet.

Quick, friendly, awesome service
We got insurance after moving to the east coast and before we got set up with a new vet with new sets of shots etc, we decided it would be best (and made the most sense) to get pet insurance with Embrace. I would definitely recommend purchasing the wellness plan--it has paid off for us and we plan on using it when our dog gets spayed. Awesome and speedy customer service and filling out and sending in a claim is so easy and painless-the vet office can even handle filling it out and faxing it for you.
