Peace of Mind Assured
Caesar is a 7 year old pug and when I wanted to get him insured last year, I browsed through the internet to compare all the insurance companies and finally decided to go with HealthyPaws. And I'm so glad I made the perfect decision. Recently he started developing cataract on one of his eyes and the quote from the Ophthalmologist was close to $2700. Though we were told that he can manage pretty well with his other eye for the rest of his life, I was bit concerned about his quality of life and checked with HealthyPaws. Their response was very encouraging and hence we went ahead with the surgery. The claim was processed within 3 days and my net out of pocket expense got drastically reduced to $500. Caesar is doing great now thanks to HealthyPaws backing us every moment. The whole experience was so simple and hassle-free and I would sure recommend HealthyPaws for anyone who love their pets. I wish HealthyPaws can insure us humans too! :)

Amazing Company and Staff
A couple of months ago I acquired a beautiful loving miniature Portuguese Water dog that was a rescue and in need of a loving caring home. To ensure that she had the best pet insurance, I did my due diligence and found this amazing company; Healthy Paws that had outstanding reviews. I subscribed to their best plan and felt confident that in the event that my beautiful dog needed medical care, she would be well protected. Little did I know that within weeks of signing up to Healthy Paws would I need their help and the emergency care of ASEC. Within days the Veterinary bills quickly added up costing thousands of dollars. I submitted my claim/s to Healthy Paws and the only info that they required was for my Vet to submit all the medical records. Within a week I received checks for my claim/s, less my deductibles. Healthy Paws were absolutely outstanding in their handling of my claim (particularly during a very stressful period).

Simple, Efficient, Fast Claim Service!
Filing a claim online is fast and easy, and the only complaint I would have is that while the Wellness benefits do cover vaccine costs like Rabies and Distemper, they only pay up to $15, when the Vet charges $20-$25. Overall, the check arrived quickly, the process was easy, and they customer service has been friendly and helpful, which is ten times better than dealing with my own insurance companies.

We love Healthy Paws! Our kitty Sammy has an unfortunate habit of eating strange objects. After his first surgery, I decided to shop around for pet insurance for him. As fate would have it, Sammy decided to swallow another object on the very day the 10-day waiting period was over, so I was worried they might not cover it. But no problem! Claim was very easy to upload (WHY is BCBS-NC not this easy?!), and it was processed very quickly. I had a check in hand in less than a week, for 90% of Sammy's second surgery bill (minus deductible/exam fee). This saved us $thousands! We also got Healthy Paws insurance for our puppy when we got him last year--haven't had to use it yet, but good to know it's there if needed. Fast forward to 2 years later (November 2015). Sammy was sick again, and I feared the worst, so off he went to the animal hospital. Turned out to be gastritis/pancreatitis, so luckily no surgery was needed, and after some critical care, Sammy is now back to his old tricks. Bill was $995, and in the end I paid only $293 out of pocket. Again, I had the check in hand in less than 1 week after filing the claim. I just can't say enough about the peace of mind I have knowing my pets will get the care they need, without breaking my piggy bank like the first surgery did (pre-insurance). Pets are family, but they can do unpredictable things and come down with unpredictable illnesses, so I am more than happy to pay my monthly insurance to Healthy Paws, because I know they are going to come through for me. If only I could say the same for BCBS-NC! They even followed up with an email to inquire about Sammy's recovery! Healthy Paws is the best!

I've had to use Embrace twice in the last year for my cat Maggie (he's doing better now) & the process was frictionless, working smoothly. When the mail lost a check, a new one was sent immediately. I deal with health insurance in my work life, & I can only wish it was this good for humans.

A claims form should be made available during the set up of the insurance. Everything else was perfect. With that being said I did not look on-line for a claims form. It made things easy for me once I received an email with the claims form. However the Embrace sent the form over to the Vet for me.

Service was excellent, timely, and cost-efficient
My dog Angel has been experiencing issues as she is getting older. I invested in ASPCA and had no idea how cost-efficient they would be as I encountered these issues. They also check in on your pet, as well as provide timely services. They always are willing to answer any questions you may have.
