Fast and efficient
My Henry has had numerous claims with Trupanion. The most recent have been within the last two weeks. He had pneumonia and then a few days later was hospitalized with pancreatitis. Trupanion handled my claim quickly and efficiently. There was a small error where they forgot to include medications in the payment but one phone call and it was taken care of right away. Henry also has epilepsy and every claim relating to his epilepsy is handled promptly. Customer service reps are always pleasant and easy to talk to.

Healthy Paws = Peace of Mind! + a healthy dog!
I just want to say a big THANK YOU for Healthy Paws. I am so thankful to have Healthy Paws Pet Insurance which gives me the financial peace of mind to cover my best buddy, Button when he has emergency issues. Button was an owner-surrendered Yorkshire Terrier to a Manhattan, NYC kill shelter in 2012. He was saved from death by Anarchy Rescue, and then sent to Yorkie 911 Rescue for further rehabilitation. I counted that I am his 5th home! We fell in love with him at a dog adoption day, and never looked back. The term "who rescued who" is so appropriate in our home; since I do not have any children (just plenty of nieces and nephews!!!). With a rescue, you have a health unknown, and thankfully he had no pre-existing conditions which might exclude him from some coverage. The decision to have pet insurance was to insure me that this little dog's life would never have a price tag on him again; nor will I every throw him away as many dog owners do when financial issues of pet care could cause a burden. I read about Healthy Paws through an AAA recommendation, and the company has not let me down. I can handle the day-to-day, well-doggie costs with the vet; but, my dog has had a few emergencies due to his getting into trouble or from an unexpected illness, and those vet bills were scary. The insurance has provided me with such peace of mind, knowing that my dog gets great care, when I hand over the credit card. Button's recent ear canal surgery was health threatening, (sad and scary for the pet parents, we were fearful that we might loose him), and the associated vet bill was even scarier. I actually called Healthy Paws before the surgery just like I do for my own insurance "just in-case". Customer support gave me peace of mind to move forward. After the surgery, the reimbursement was at 90% - paid very, very promptly! Button almost died during the surgery. He had a TECA (total ear canal ablation), and is now hearing in only one good ear--now a special needs dog (but he has adjusted to his lost hearing). He endured two weeks recovering with the "cone of shame", eye drops, while we tried to keep him calm and confined. After the two weeks, the vet surgeon gave Button a "thumbs up"! Button is a happy, healthy dog--back to his old self. Without the expert care of two vets, my Button Buddy would have died. I am hoping that now he has a lot of dog treats, belly rubs,and life left in him for a few more years. With your insurance, he will definitely have that emergency care as he ages with the amazing coverage that you provide. Thank Goodness for HealthyPaws Pet Insurance
Our dog Maya has had bad luck with her knees. We have had to put her through 5 surgeries over 2 years totaling over $15k. Healthy Paws has been there to save us from potential bankruptcy and enable us to help our baby and not make that terrible choice of heal our pet or put a roof over our heads. My Greyhound initially went in for a broken leg last year. March 2014. He was in an external fixator for seven months, followed by Osteo bone cancer and needed his leg amputated. Following amputatiom he has been on chemo and is ongoing. Throughout this entire procedure, Trupanion has been excellent and has gone beyond my expectations. They have helped make a horrible situation better by providing us excellent service, compassion and handling everything in an extremely timely manner. I submit them a claim via email as within the same day or following day they responded with an apology and that they are working on the claim. Then by the following day they send me another email saying the check is on its way! From the time I submit my claim to receipt of check it's usually within one week, quite unbelievable! Also since this is continuing claim even though a year prior I have only had to pay my deductible upon the original injury and then 10% of each claim. I have been going to an animal specialty hospital since March 2014, sometimes three times a week and for the first seven months between two and three times a week and now going once a month. I've met so many people and heard about their financial problems concerning their pets injuries and it's amazing to me how many of them do not know about pet insurance or have had bad experiences with it. Trupanion I have spread the word and spoken very highly of you so out of your kindness and generosity , I hope more of these people come to you so they can afford to take care of their beloved pets. Words cannot thank you enough

Easy, no hassle, a great decision for our dogs
Embrace was the best decision we made for our dogs. Our small Chihuahua suffered a seizure late one evening. We had to take her to the emergency room and then for a couple follow-up visits. The veterinary office sends our claim forms directly to Embrace, we get the email notice of the claim as well as status updates, what an easy process. Embrace has always been fair, timely and friendly with all of our claims. We are so glad we chose Embrace.
