Great service
Our 4 year old cat, Sophie, was diagnosed with a liver disease which came on very suddenly. She spent a week in the Emergency hospital, and has been on special food. Her treatment involved several very expensive procedures. Trupanion paid the claim promptly and without question. In fact, I had the cheque before the credit card bill so Sophie's treatment was due. A difficult time with Sophie was made much easier knowing that because of our insurance, we could afford the treatment necessary to save her life!

I'm so glad my Vet suggested I get Pet Insurance for my puppy. He highly recommended Trupanion and I trust his recommendations. My Maltese, Alberto, was diagnosed with Allergies in the first 2 years of life. You helped to save my little furry boy!
Our little boy suddenly started vomiting quickly followed by bloody diarrhea. We rushed him right in to emergency services with our vet. He was critically ill. He required services and tests. Some time later, on our way home we thought about the fact that we were blessed to be able to say yes to the tests and services and knew we could pay at the time of services and then submit a claim for reimbursement. We know of too many pet parents who couldn't do that and ultimately lost their furry kids. Thankfully, because of the quick action and care of our vet, our furry son is walking around happily wagging his tail today! Thank you Dr. and Pets Best!!! Filing the claim has been quick and easy.

Healthy Paws: Excellent Customer Service
My husband and I wanted a French bulldog for so long and when we finally got our Ruby we knew due to Frenchies being prone to various health problems that we needed good insurance. Healthy Paws has been wonderful to us. Their mobile claim submission process is so quick and easy (all you have to do is take a picture of your bill and press submit). Their processing time is extremely quick. When Ruby needed major knee surgery they approved her claim within hours! We also appreciate Healthy Paws' great customer service. Any time we've called they've answered the phone and have been very friendly and helpful. They even emailed us asking how Ruby was coming along after her surgery!

100% worth having my pet insured!
I hesitate, like everyone else, about having my indoor cats insured. Is it worth it? Will I ever need it and if I do will insurance even cover? The answer to all those is yes! My cat ate a chewable pill meant for my dog. I turned around for a second and apparently it tasted good because it was immediately gone. I called the vet because I knew dosage had to be far beyond the dose for a much smaller animal. Sure enough, she had to be hospitalized for two days to flush it out. I was in a panic and thank goodness she ended up being okay. I called Trupanion and filed a claim. The associates were very friendly. I sent over the paperwork and the next day I received an email with details on the check I would be receiving. They paid 90%. I started her as a kitten so had a zero deductible. Compared to any human insurance I've dealt with this was so smooth. I was so happy I ended up insuring her..and so glad she is okay. No more chewable pills, just the gross ones they'll never touch unless we put it in a pill pocket...lesson learned.
