We have been completely honest with this company but they have turned down every claim even the vet office appointments ( no surgery or anything expensive was submitted) NO previous health issues were submitted yet still no reimbursement!!! We were charged every month for the premium amount instead of every quarter and have not gotten a refund or a call. They use very friendly staff to get you to sign up then turn down every claim that is legitimate.I am going to call the BBB.

Claim process very easy. Spoke with Trupanion rep on the phone and he knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. The claim was paid within two weeks of submitting the same.I am an insurance agent and know the claims process can be difficult and frustrating. My experience with Trupanion was neither. Hope I do not have to make anymore claims, but am confident that Trupanion will be there for me and my dog if I do. Thank you!

I had another pet insurance for years and was not a good experience. I cannot say enough good things about Embrace..very prompt with claims, questions and emails. So far everything just seems strait forward (like it should be)

Great insurance!
I had VPI since 1999, for a total of 6 dogs. Right now VPI covers" the second and third" generation of my dogs, and I have been very happy allover. Sure there are years when you think, why do I pay this?- but then the worst happens and VPI helps to pay for the cost. It is the same as health insurance for humans, you never should think about" can I afford this". Our pets are friends and family, and so much more, they deserve to be covered by insurances for their health and wellbeing. If more people would do this, there would be less " discarded" animals. The costs are affordable and the investment is well worth it. I would never have a pet without insurance.
