Worked just as I hoped!
Our claim would not have been a budget buster, but it was still nice to receive the reimbursement for some of our costs. Got a new puppy for Christmas. We will be adding our third four legged friend to our policy.

Great peace of mind
Overall, a great company with awesome customer service. Our dog Bexley was diagnosed with kidney cancer and had to have it removed quickly. I submitted numerous claims, all were handled expertly and efficiently with a matter of a few days. Company has far exceeded my expectations of an insurance company. Thank you for the peace of mind during this, I will continue to be a loyal customer for many years to come.

Trupanion was a great decision!!
I got Trupanion when I first got Marcie 3 years ago. She's a Tea Cup Yorkie. Since then, I have had her to the Vet hospital a few times & the bills were high. The hospital would submit the claim the same day & later that same day I would get an email from Trupanion stating my refund is in the mail. Within 5 days I have my refund. Also if you have a vet that is linked with Trupanion, you will only pay for your 10% of the vet cost. I have no deductible & the insurance covers 90% of the cost. I would most definitely recommend Trupanion to anyone with a pet. I'm always bragging about them to my friends because the service is exceptional!!

Malaysia is a 2 1/2 year old golden retriever, has had 2 TPLO surgeries this year. Trupanion covered them without question. This is better insurance than my personal health care.

This insurance is one of the best investments we have made. On the 4th of July in 2013 Ozzie was unable to keep any food down & because of the holiday, our regular vet was closed. We took him to the emergerncy vet that day & our regular vet the next day. We filed both claims immediately & received 90% of our costs back within a week! We recommend this insurance program to all of our friends & family.

Easy to file a claim
There were several ways to file the claim and I opted to mail the claim. Trupanion made the necessary contacts to the vet.
