Pets Plus Us! Highly Recommended!
When we adopted Opie, our precious 12 week of Neopolitan Mastiff, our vet had us enrol in the one month free trial with Pets Plus Us! That decision was something that would become a godsend! We didn’t realize what a life saver it would be! Not only for beautiful Mastiff but also to protect our savings and future savings against unseen concerns. Our family had previously had a very healthy Bull Mastiff who had lived a very long, healthy life. Adopting a dog with health concerns did not cross our mind when I feel in love with our new family member! Shortly after his initial check up Opie started showing issues with his eyes, skin, allergies and the worst to come was he was examined and found to have bilateral hip dysplasia. We purchased the 80% coverage through the Accident & Illness insurance, and hoped we wouldn't need to use it anymore anytime soon. Well turns out we submit a claim monthly for his pain medicine, eye drops and other miscellaneous ointments and potions. AKA thousands of dollars later! Having pet health insurance certainly helped take some of the stress out of having our dog undergo 3 cherry eye surgeries, eye ulcer surgery and pain medication to manage him until he hits maturity. He has a hip surgery in his future, in the meantime, Pets Plus Us gives us the coverage to medically manage his pain. I would highly recommend Pets Plus Us to anyone looking for pet health coverage!! Thank you for being there for us!

I have three beagles and have been with VPI for quite some time. They have covered every claim I have made and made everyting very easy. I have been glad that they also accept accupuncture as a treatment plan rather than just force surgery. My only complaint is that they take your payment via direct deposit but won't send your claim adjustment via direct deposit.

Unprofessional Customer Service Reps
This is based on my encounter when I called in to cancel account. The customer Service Rep by the name of Yvette very rude and unprofessional. Trying to tell me my credit card was not charged when I clearly see it on my bill. She has no knowledge on how to deal with customers or their issues. I feel this changed my view on VPI and me wanting to stay. I glad this happened and now I can move on from their service.

I am so impressed with Healthy Paws!
It was a HUGE comfort knowing we had Healthy Paws on our side as we were going through a very traumatic situation when our dog ruptured a disk in his back. We knew it was going to be expensive, and wondered if there would be any issues with such a large insurance claim. Healthy Paws acknowledged receipt of the claim right away (as always), and processed the claim within 2 days - I just received the check less than a week after filing. We are great fans of HP and their mission, and we tell every pet-owner we know about how great they are. Their service ranks among the best of any company I've ever dealt with, and it is wonderful to know there are real people there who care about pets as much as we do.

Can't get better than this
So my cat got this weird ear problem and the only way to solve was to get the blood work done and after the report the vet suggested to have a small surgery done. I have to say i was little worries that insurance might not cover this, now that a notion we all have about the insurance companies. I have to say i was surprised that they covered my insurance in less than 1 hour initially they did ask me for a letter but once they had the letter they dint take nay time to cover all the expenses related tot his surgery. I haven't worked with anybody else and I don't intend it. This is the best insurance coverage I have seen till date and they are truly amazing. This the time my cat is alive I would def work with them.

I highly recommend Pest best. They are the best!
My maltese Giovannni is only a year and half old. He came down with Gastrointestinal Issues and had to be hospitalized. I had never submitted a claim for illness and was a little nervous. I called the insurance co when he was in the hospital and explained my situation. The woman was very nice and looked up my policy and told me I should not have any issues with getting my claim paid from what I had told her. She advised me to call my Vet and the hospital to get the last 12 months of records on my Giovanni including doctors notes. She said it would speed up the claim process when I submitted it. Well I submitted less than a week ago and my claim is already approved!! I could not be more pleased with them and I could not have picked a better insurance co!!!

Extremely satisfied, best pet insurance!
We got this insurance last year for our dog and have been very satisfied with them. The claims are very easy to file and the whole review and reimbursement process is very quick. Our dog recently went through surgery and the whole procedure was covered as per our benefits without any hassle. Healthy paws even contacted us to find out a few days later how our dog was doing and how she was recovering. Just a simple gesture like that meant a lot to me and husband and we would recommended this insurance to everyone else.
