Insurance. Good for large Procedures Only.
The response to my information submitted was excellent. Claims processed quick and payment indicated quickly as well. However, I am confused. When I signed up it indicated that I would receive 80% reimbursement. In most of the claim responses, I probably got back more like 25%. This is certainly better than nothing, but I may need to rethink what I am getting back for what I pay monthly.

This insurance is a scam! beware!…
This insurance will do anything and use any excuse to not pay claims. We have an adopted pet that was abused. So, they denied a claim for his allergies that he developed later due to the grass type in the yard. They decided that it was a pre-existing condition because they “ found lesions” in the vet report from the rescue. We appealed and our vet wrote a letter saying that the lesions were not allergies but due to abuse. Then , they said that he was viewed by our vet 2 days before the back out period!! All of that of course without talking about the premium increase! My daughter had 2 pets on the insurance, my son had one and we had 2. We all canceled!! It is a scam. Instead of paying premiums to them, I will put the premium in an account specially dedicated to dog care. No so called pre existing condition on a rescue dog, deductible or co-pay!

I wish that I read the reviews before…
I wish that I read the reviews before joining. When aspca says that they pay for preventative — they lie. I called around and could not form anyone who would spay or give vaccines for this minimal price. Not only that, they do not cover all of the vaccines. Which is sad. They paid less than 1/6 of the spay fee. I tried canceling the preventative part of the insurance — but then they do not allow you to cancel it. The racket is that once you sign up, you are in for paying all the bills yourself — and them. Sad. I am a physician and if human insurances did this — they would be sued and would not be in business.

System Issue Resolved I recently had…
System Issue Resolved I recently had an “system” issue that I couldn’t get resolved. System issues are frustrating BUT every rep I chatted with or spoke with was outstanding. The issue had to be escalated which I was totally fine with. It landed me in the right place with Clarissa & Naomi. They totally understood the situation and were very professional & kind. They worked to get it resolved. I will say every rep I spoke with was helpful and even took the time to ask me how Jackson was doing. Ty To all of you.
