Healthy Paws is a Life Saver!
Healthy Paws is outstanding - we couldn't give it any higher of a recommendation! When our Jack Russell, Rocky, got diagnosed with congestive heart failure the medical bills started to pile up quickly but with Health Paws we were able to get him the care that he needed without having the stress of wondering how we'd have to cover all of the specialist fees. When Rocky passed away, the Healthy Paws team sent us a hand written condolences card that meant to world to our family as we were grieving. We currently have Healthy Paws for our bulldog, Cenzo, and our puppy, Lucca. Cenzo has had a nasty spat with skin issues (yay bulldogs!) this year with dermatologist bills and medication costing a small fortune. Again, without fail, Healthy Paws has paid all of the claims quickly and without question. Aside from the great service, the mobile app is terrific. After a vet appointment I can just take a picture of the bill and submit instantly and within a few days we have a reimbursement check in the mailbox. I would highly recommend pet insurance for any pet owner. For our family, we will always use Health Paws - we can't recommend them strongly enough!

Fantastic Customer Service & Coverage
I have been with Pets HealthCare Insurance since my Vizsla, Roma, was a baby. She is now going to be 11yo in April! They have always covered major medical expenses without any hassle. One of the few companies that actually stands behind what they say they will do. I own a dog excursion co in Providence RI and have about 80-100 dogs a day. I refer clients to Pets Healthcare Plan all the time with the confidence my client's will be happy.

Trupanion paid a significant amount of our emergency surgery claim.
In late December our wonderful German Shepherd, Aksel, experienced Gastric Dilitation Volvulus (GDV). This is a sudden onset, life threatening emergency. We rushed him to a 24 hour emergency veterinary hospital; he received emergency surgery, spent two days in ICU and received fabulous care. We are pleased to report he responded quite well, recovered, and is back to his happy, active, ball chasing, hiking, swimming self. We submitted a claim to Trupanion, our first claim with them. After the $750 deductible and deducting the exam cost, Trupanion reimbursed us 90% of the remaining costs. We would, of course, have paid anything to save our boy, and the most important thing is that he is still with us and thriving, but getting the majority of those costs back was certainly a good thing. Thanks Trupanion.

Saved our sanity
We have two French Bulldogs and within 3 months of each other, they each ruptured a disc and were diagnosed with IVDD. When the first happened, we immediately got pet insurance through trupanion (something we had been putting off) to protect our dogs in the future. We had the incredible misfortune of the 2nd dog suffering a disc rupture just as the first was healing. She had always been very healthy and the insurance was a precaution, we never expected to need it so soon. The emotional and financial turmoil has been awful but Trupanion has been a saving grace. Our 2nd dog was covered, had she not been we would have been almost $11,000 deep from the surgeries of both dogs. Everyone I ever have spoken to at Trupanion has been compassionate (even when I was on edge and upset) and the claim went through quickly. Our 2nd dog is only 3 and has a long road of recovery ahead, requiring many medications and a wheelchair. I am so thankful for Trupanion and have been telling anyone who will listen to me; get insurance for your pet!
