Improved Is Not Really The Wor…
Improved is not really the word. I do understand that the $$$ paid on the knee for the cruciate is done and that now anything going forward will not be paid? Got it, arthritis is a side effect of the knee injury and therefore no further payments will be made. X-rays were taken to insure everything was still in place as we had unexplained limping so I saw this as a separate issue. So when shopping for insurance not really sure how to account to insure one is covered. Not saying insurance claim was wrong, just not sure going forward if anything having to do with knees is now insured even thou there now could be issues that are now age related, not due to a previous cruciate repair which should actually have reduced the amount of issues going forward.

Embrace has worked with us, our vet and emergency clinic for several issues with our shar pei Keaton. Embrace has been responsive and swift with claims and also willing to hear appeals to reconsider coverage. We are happy to give Embrace two thumbs'up and one big tail way.

Adopted 2015 Insured 2015 Major Surgery 2017
I adopted a miniature poodle mix and had purchased Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. That was in 2015. March 2017 she ended up in Pet Emergency & Specialty Center of Marin and her bill for the first week was well over $23,000. I was waiting for bad news. I thought for sure I hadn't had the insurance long enough to cover over a 23,000 dollar bill. I spoke with Healthy Paws Customer Service and they were amazing. I wanted to find out if I could have the hospital process one week of care so I can get reimbursed to free up cards for her second week of recovery from a major surgery. The representative (Shelly) was so cooperative and said not only can they do that but they can work with the hospital for future invoices. My call to them was on Saturday. On Monday the file was reviewed and Wednesday I had my reimbursement. Can't get better than that! I don't know if it is standard practice or on a requested basis but it was perfect that the representative let me know it was possible. Then, another representative (Janine) sent the necessary paperwork to the hospital. I have gotten emails from Healthy Paws checking on my dogs and wishing her well. I told the representative as long as I have pets, they will have Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. Healthy Paws has made a big impression, not only with me but people I tell. In one word....AMAZING.

Excellent insurance for you pet
Healthy Paws was there when we needed it! Our yellow lab Sara ruptured her right cranial cruciate ligament (ACL in humans), and required surgery. The surgery required was an Arthroscopic assisted Arthrex TightRope repair. Without question, it would have been extremely difficult for us to afford the surgery had it not been for Healthy Paws Pet Insurance!!! Healthy Paws stepped right up with no questions asked and Sara is now recovering looking forward to a summer filled with fun with the family! Buying pet insurance through Healthy Paws was a very smart decision. People buy health insurance, fire insurance, auto insurance, yet often don't buy pet insurance and then wish they had!

This company is the reason our dog is alive today
Over the last couple of days the our family almost lost our dog. Our dog was hit by a car. Our dog just turn 2. We where informed by our Veterinarian to purchase dog insurance when we got her as a puppy. I did my research and located Healthy Paws Pet insurance. Without this insurance, I would not be able to snuggle with my puppy today. Who is making a wonderful recovery from this traumatic event. During this time of crisis I was able to make quick decisions and not have to think about the financial aspect of what was going on as I knew our dog was covered at 90% . I was able to proceed without stress and make the decisions that ultimately saved our puppy's life. I will be recommending this insurance company to every animal owner out there as this company has save one of our family members.( the invoices we had have already been reviewed and check have been mailed to my house) The compassion the adjuster had when I called with a ton of questions had so much empathy that I will never own a pet without Healthy Paws. They even sent a follow up email to check on my pet If your animal owner, I recommend checking them out and getting your pet insured as it may save your pet. Just like they have saved ours

Saved our dog's life
We love our Healthy Paws insurance. We have had a lot of bills related to pain management and imaging services lately that we could NEVER have afforded without it. Our puppy is now on a course of treatment to alleviate all of his severe suffering and should be a happy dog again soon. You have customers for life, and we tell everyone how important our pet insurance has been in these difficult past few months, and that it's one of the best investments we've every made (better ROI than my 401k!). You've definitely saved our young puppy a lot of pain and possibly even his life. We are very thankful for our Healthy Paws insurance.

I have had ASPCA insurance for several years, and have never been disappointed. They have affordable, good quality coverage; they process and pay out claims quickly and without fuss; and they always give follow-up calls -- just to see how my recovering pet was doing, or to offer their condolences when one passed. They even sent a condolence card signed by the people in the office when my little Cho died -- I was very moved by that. There are true human(e) beings working for this company. They have my business for life :)

Great service, easy to use, highly recommended
Pet insurance, much like all insurance, isn't something you need until you need it, and fortunately, when we've needed it, ASPCA has really been there. Our dog recently had a 3-day stay at an emergency clinic due to what was later diagnosed as pancreatitis. The out-of-pocket expense was $2600. Soon after, I submitted my claim online (which, by the way, is extremely simple and easy to use, just another reason why I like this insurance so much) and within 72 hours my claim had been processed and I knew exactly how much I was going to get back on my claim...nearly 75%, which would have been higher had I already paid my small annual deductible of $100. My point is, I realize paying monthly premiums for no potential benefit is something that some choose to avoid, but I am telling you, when the time comes and your loved one has serious medical issue, you will be THANKFUL to have had the ASPCA in your corner. I cannot stress it enough...they are there when you need them. I highly recommend this pet health insurance to anyone that is considering getting it for their pet.
