Fabulous service: easy to submit a claim, and very prompt payment. Easy to use website keeps you fully aware of the status of your claim. Love the fact that they call you to see how your pet is doing.

Affordable mix of protections
While the insurance is definitely geared toward large, expensive, accidents, I also have positive feelings towards the times when the insurance helps to offset the costs of small health issues, like cuts, infections, and illness. Honestly, ASPCA insurance helps us afford to keep even the most mischievous pet in our family.

I did a lot of research on pet insurance. I had a free months from another company. However chose to go with Trupanion as they seemed to have a everything I was looking for they had great reviews the premiums where great. I was able to pick the deductible I wanted to pay. Our kitten had an eye problem right after we got him after the deductible was paid everything went smoothly. I also like that my Vet can submit and I don't have to do anything. Great company wonderful service and very friendly and courteous service representatives. I would recommend them highly

I had a different insurance carrier for a previous pet. They were not good. Trupanion came highly recommended by my Vet. The claims process is easy; there is always someone available by phone. When we had some highly technical medical treatments, Trupanion representatives, explained terminology and what they needed to consider claims. They are affordable given the amount of coverage they provide. They are open and honest about what they will cover so there are no surprises. Even when things got rough for our Smokey they were compassionate and willing to help. I encourage people to adopt/rescue older pets and get Trupanion.

Great Customer Service
We got free insurance with our first rescue and during the trial Zoe had parvovirus. We decided to purchase the insurance and glad we did because Zoe got epilepsy and it was covered. After Zoe passed, we recently rescued another dog which had his front right leg amputated as a result of a shotgun wound. Pets Plus Us underwrote his coverage and to our surprise there was no pre-existing exclusions for complications with his amputation although there is still a small piece of bullet lodged in the right shoulder. We researched the coverage of our previous company and Pets Plus Us and found their coverage easier to understand and there help on the phone very good. We have submitted one small claim which was paid in almost half the time as our previous insurer. Recommend insurance to everyone with a rescue and Pets Plus Us has been very good to deal with.

It's worth it!
Trupanion is totally worth it! They just need to figure out how to keep their claim processing fast as they boast on their website. Is taking way longer than 7-10 days to get claims processed.
