Great response

I purchased insurance for my puppy, Murphy, when I first got him. I never anticipated any issues with him because he was such a healthy guy. Then, one night I noticed that he was not feeling well and rushed him off to the emergency vets where I was told he had bloat and needed emergency surgery. Murphy did have the surgery and is now doing fine. The total bill was over $5000, most of which was covered by embrace. They were wonderful to deal with both at the time of the surgery and after. In the future, I will always use embrace to insure my pets. Peace of mind is a wonderful thing!

Best Pet Insurance Choice

I would highly recommend Health Paws to anyone looking for affordable pet insurance. I've dealt with other companies in the past. When I received huge premium increases from the company I used for 7 years (since he was a puppy), I started looking for another option. Health Paws is by far the best deal. They have very few limitations on what is covered, offer many policy options so you find the right policy for your budget, and have been super friendly during claims. I just recently had to make the decision to have my Tyler's eye removed due to Glaucoma. Even though husky's are prone to that, it was still covered. The previous company I used didn't cover hereditary conditions. They answered all my questions promptly throughout the process. They covered the ER charges when his eye was swollen, meds and a few procedures to try to get it under control and ultimately the surgery and recovery costs when that was needed as well. The rep was even kind enough to review my surgery quotes and help me decide which procedure I should go with. After the surgery, I emailed her the invoice. The claim was literally processed in less than an hour since she had already seen the quote. It was such a relief to know when those bills were coming in, that I could concentrate on my pups care. Best decision I made switching to Healthy Paws.

It couldn't be any better

Of all pet insurance companies I looked into, ASPCA pet insurance was excellent from the first call. The people you deal with have compassion about your pet almost as much as you do. My first experience was with my dying kitty that was very sudden. I received a hand written sympathy note and phone calls from very caring people that eased my pain and really made me feel like they were right there with me grieving. They were amazing. My most recent claim was for my 13-year-old who had an upper respiratory infection. I got very nervous because of her age and took her right to the vet. She wasn't eating or drinking and I thought it was the end. While she was recovering, I got a call to see how she was doing. How amazing is that?! Any time I deal with the folks here, I'm am always so pleasantly surprised about how considerate they are. I wish the training these people get was the same for human insurance companies!

If I Heard One Word From You …

If I heard one word from you after I submitted the claim it would be a start. Its out if I need to get this survey about how you did when you didn"t. Sorry to sound snippy but I"m in the middle of a lot of stuff with my animal and it would"ve been great if you guys had been responsive. That"s sad and other times you have done a wonderful job! "

It Was Stated That The Claim W…

It was stated that the claim was denied because it was a preventable illness. It was a tic disease and we had been applying tic medicine to our dog, had him testing in October for his once yearly examination, and also get him a yearly lyme disease vaccine in October so it was up to date. So I could not have done more to prevent the dog from receiving this disease. If that is still the policy, that tic diseases are just not covered than it is what it is. However it is still upsetting to do everything you can to prevent it and still be told it was preventable.
