Truly the best Pet Insurance and A+ Cust. Service!
Words cannot describe the relief I had that I after much online research- decided to purchase insurance coverage for our boxer Franklin. When I purchased his insurance- Franklin was only 7 months old and was only planning on worse come scenarios in case he ever contracted any of the medical complications boxers are prone for never thinking after a $3300 stomach/intestinal surgery to remove a foreign obstruction - was beyond elated to find out the reviews I had read were all true regarding fast reimbursement for nearly 2/3 of his medical fees- let alone, such genuine, kind customer service from Healthy Paws while dealing with this major trauma. I have been spreading the word to anyone as many people possible as this has been such a tremendous financial relief knowing our Franklin has insurance coverage for medical emergencies. - Scott from Golden, Colorado

Smartest desicion ever!
Healthy Paws is the first pet insurance company I've used and they have been wonderful. The process to submit claims is easy, their response is fast and the coverage is straightforward. Best thing you can do for your pet and yourself.
Your pet is receiving healthy physicals and dental exams. Then one day the teeth need a good cleaning because teeth play an important part in your pets health. In time your pet ages and may need something more than just the norm or heaven forbid there's an accident..you hear the cost and for a split second you think omg! My experience with Healthy Paws pet insurance has been nothing short of wonderful! I have a cat that has had one eye removed because of cancer and is now in the process of dealing with heart disease and through this difficult period Healthy Paws has made this a very easy experience in dealing with the insurance end of the situation. I have to say I was always unsure of buying insurance for our pets, but then we decided on a corgi pup I wanted to be sure he would get the care he needed at all times and not worry about cost. I have to say in the 1st year it has paid for itself with him breaking his foot at 6 months old. Embrace is fast and on point with their communication. A+Brian

Hard to Cancel
I heard great things about Trupanion and decided to try it out for my dog. Unfortunately, the rate increased from $39 when I started to two years later being $60. I received no notice of the rate increase, although the contract said I would receive it via email or mail. I decided to cancel and called Trupanion. They let me know it was canceled and a representative would be following up with me the next day. I never got a call and 10 days later I was sent an email asking me to confirm the cancellation. I missed the email (since it was not discussed as being the process) and was never cancelled. It is challenging to cancel and leaves a bad impression on an overall good system/ service. I am disappointed in the lack of follow through when attempting to cancel the plan.

I have recommended very often in the past. Usually Trupanion is very prompt. But you received this claim April 21, and i have called twice and it has not even been reviewed yet. This is unusual and I would appreciate payment.

Issuing a claim with trupanion is a joke.
Issuing a claim with trupanion is a joke. It takes far too long and I'm not even certain I'll be compensated for something that should be covered. And if I'm not, I will likely cancel the insurance all together considering I've shelled out over 3k to you for what's seems like a sham.
