Won't pay claim

Submitted claim. Embrace wanted more details from the vet, also from the first vet that they required a wellness check when we adopted the dog from the shelter. Paperwork submitted but they wanted more. There is no more. Dog with us less than a year, from a shelter, got wellness review when purchased policy for which I pay for one year coverage up front. They keep saying they want more paperwork. There is none and so they just have not paid anything on the claim and I am reviewing to suggest others stay away from this compay.

Good Experience

have had Pets Best pet insurance for 2 years now and they have paid almost all claims submitted to them. And the way I can do it right online is easy. I do not have the plan that includes wellness because I can't afford it living on one income. So they didn't cover my dog's dental. But all the other claims they covered. The price does go up annually because pets get older with possible more problems. But I still recommend them for your furry family. "

Pet Insurance Policy

My dogs is developing arthritis in his front joints and requires frequent injections in order to treat the symptoms. The injections are expensive but are covered under our insurance policy. Currently the costs are applied towards our deductible but once the deductible has been met we receive reimbursement for most of the costs. Getting our pet insurance several years ago with Pets Bests was a very smart decision on part. The policy has been a great help towards reducing surgery and treatment related expenses.

Absolutely pathetic

Every time I submit a claim they say that they need more information and can't process my claim. Half the stuff that I submit for a claim they deny. I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for a refund and they keep saying that they need more information when the app won't even download on my phone. I've had countless problems with their app. I'm done. I'm about to just switch insurance companies.

Spot Pet Insurence is a scam

Spot Pet Insurence is a scam. They will not pay for the cost seeing with the vet which you already paid out of pocket. I got the plan accident and illness already 9 months and my two cats are 13 months now. Last 2 weeks ago one of my cat look hard to use litter box and he changed behavior using litter box, so i went to a vet and follow the procedures a vet need to know what happen to him. Then I called the spot customer service for how to claim a bill and she show me how to claim, but also she told me for the future before you payout you have to claim estimate bills first then after they approved i can do process. I was never heard like it before. In my case this is the cat not dog, as long as they are healthy i am not seeing the vet. After claim filled a week later spot asked for the medical record that my cats are not even born date. I called them and told them about it and to file what ever i have. Then I reclaim again with my cat very first vaccine that my breeder took, other than that i do not update any more because they are kitten and healthy. Then they said not eligible of the whole invoice of claim. I called spot and they keep asking vaccine record that i do not have. I can even understand that they do not want to pay total invoice but should be cover for some of them like seeing the vet cost or some medication. I just write about this to understand how they are handling on claiming process. They are just try to find a reasons to not pay back. Also what they sale about coverage and no worry about cost at the beginning are all lie and beware for it. What i paid 9 months insurence $114.61 for both cats doesn’t even cover a penny of first claim. I will end with them. Updated: they not pay because i don’t have wellness vaccine records for cats. What is the point for paid them for past 9 months for plan illness.
