One Terrific Company
I’ve always been skeptical about pet insurance and have heard horror stories from other pet owners about insurance they had purchased. Trupanion is an outstanding exception. Filing a claim was so easy and customer service was outstanding, to say the least. My claim and payment were processed in record time!
I have a almost 11 year old Golden Retriever and and almost 10 year old Golden Retriever. We've had numerous claims and Trupanion has ALWAYS come through for us. The piece of mind is worth every (affordable) monthly payment we have made and Trupanion makes it extremely easy to submit our medical costs. I will always have them as my pet insurance. Thank you Trupanion!
If your dog has ever been to the vet, don't get Embrace pet insurance.
Embrace is going to go through your pets medical records with a fine tooth comb and will not cover anything that they deem to be a preexisting condition. If you have a puppy who has never been to the vet for anything other than routine care, they might be a good pet insurance company. If your pets records indicate any kind of a vet visit for anything other than routine care, it will be considered to be a pre-exisiting condition and will not be covered for different lengths of time, some forever, some for a year. If your dog hurts her leg while on a hike, it will be considered an orthopedic condition and therefore, a pre-exisiting condition.
