They're scam! Beware!!
My new kitten was only 3 months old at the time he got sick sonwe took him to the emergency vet for the first time he ever saw any vet. They kept emailing me for missing paper wotks that I have submitted. It took me same 7 emails, same 5 phone calls and one month for them to tell me that they won't approve me because it's an pre existing illness! Mind you this is the first time, he ever got sick or seeing the vet!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

Bella's Vet Claim
The whole process was quick and easy. I submitted the claim online and had my refund is a few days. I received the expected amount as written on the policy.
I do not recommend PHI Direct.
My cat's policy was cancelled simply because I got a new credit card — and PHI has no way to update payment information online. The only option was to call, but every time I tried, it was outside their limited business hours. As a result, I was told I had to start a new policy from scratch, pay a $40 registration fee, and that my original $36/month rate was not guaranteed. All of this could have been avoided with even the most basic online account tools, which every other modern provider offers. Customer service was unhelpful and rigid, showing no concern for retaining clients. I’ve now switched to a provider that offers proper digital support and flexibility. Would not recommend PHI Direct.

Happy
I am very happy with Pets Best Insurance..I was able to speak with staff there to help me with the claims process as I am not computer savvy. My claim was handled very quickly and I am happy that I chose to get this ins for my Buddy.

claim
I had to cancel the insurance as I wasn't going to pay for something that was taking over 1 month to get reimbursement. I would submit everything they asked for only to receive an email saying they were missing information that I knew I sent and had record that I sent it. Their live chat is terrible as no one is available during the open hours. The email responses are not much better as these are vague and not helpful. There was no simple and quick reimbursement as everyone has said.

Great Service Provider
I am extremely impressed with the fast turnaround on claims review and payment. I have had Healthy Paws for a number of years for my pets and am very happy. I like the fact there is no yearly maximum payment and you can adjust your deductible and payout percentage. They even followed up to ask how my pet was doing after claims reviews. Alternate medicine is also covered. I am very glad I have Healthy Paws behind me and would recommend them to pet parents!

We adopted our dog on March 21
We adopted our dog on March 21. Since then we have paid almost $700 in monthly payments and the $250 deductible. This week, we received an email saying that a claims adjuster felt it might be "a good idea" to review Wilda's vet files. Lo and behold, he or she found two "pre-existing conditions." (I will take this up with our vet tomorrow or on the weekend.) Why did it take almost four months for Embrace to review files it got soon after we adopted Wilda Lilly? And after we had paid so much money? Now we are told that she will not receive possibly needed services... This is truly unprofessional. I am probably going to write to Embrace's CEO--as well as advising the medical director of our vet clinic to urge her staff of eight (going up when the clinic expands) to not recommend Embrace. My neighbor's dog is covered by TruPanion and has not experienced any issues like these...
