For some reason there was a delay in receiving the claim I mailed to you. I called almost two weeks after mailing it and was told it had not been received. I then said I would re-send everything. Magically, I received notification the next day that it had been received. It was then promptly processed and paid.

MetLife Pet Insurance has been a life saver for me. My cats developed problems as they aged and I don’t know how I would have been able to afford the care for them without the insurance. The coverage is exactly as advertised. I couldn’t be happier and I wish my medical insurance was as pain free. The only criticism is that sometimes processing takes a bit long, but they always come through.

Without Trupanion Insurance my two…
Without Trupanion Insurance my two oldest dogs would not be here. My Cavalier King Charles underwent open heart surgery to repair his mitral valve July 2024. You were there for us every step of the way. My oldest dog a cocker spaniel who turned 12 today is undergoing a cancer treatment for oral melanoma with a new treatment called Gilvetmab. He has responded very well and continues his treatment every other week. I can't say enough about Trupanion. Payment is always made to my account and my pets receive the best possible care there is. The open heart surgery was over $50,000.00 and there was no hesitance on Trupanion's part to pay the bill. I would not be without this insurance . Thank you from all my fur babies and from me. Delay tactics to avoid paying simple claim
Straightforward claim for a heart murmur has been held up nearly a month. They keep requesting prior insurance information even though we’ve provided it and it’s not a preexisting condition. The vet records clearly show it was not preexisting. Spoken with 4 reps, none of them have been able to help. They couldn’t even see documents we had uploaded on the app. Asked to speak to a supervisor, nothing. Seems to be a delay and deny tactic to avoid paying claims. Not feeling confident about future claims or retaining this policy.
