I have used trupanion for 7 years
I have used trupanion for 7 years. And my rate has gone from $40 to $112 a month. That’s $480 to $1,344 annually ( that’s with a $1000 deductible)Trupanion says they never increase rates based on claims you submit. Instead, they use a complicated formula to increase your rate. This rate doesn’t cover office visits or any well care ( others do). And only reimburses 90% of covered costs.My dog has been diagnosed with a chronic illness that makes it impossible for me to switch companies now. I really wish I had chosen a different company. Do your homework, Trupanion is not a good company.

We have been with Trupanion for over 13…
We have been with Trupanion for over 13 years. They have paid our claims in a very timely manner and whenever we had questions about something they didn’t cover they were very helpful in explaining it. Not many pet insurance companies let you tailor your coverage by selecting the exact deductible but they do. I wish they still had their app but filing claims through their website is very simple.
