Trupanion has been great. Great turn around for approval and getting reimbursed. Never have to worry taking Cody to the vet and if going to be covered. You are focused on his well-being.

Hesitantly hopeful
I got mixed information on the online chat and actually signing up. Online I was told I could add riders at a later date, including breeding riders like when the dog is approved for breeding and on the phone he said I only have thirty days to change it:/

Unsatisfied Client
When I first purchased trupanion 12 years ago there weren't too many other pet insurance companies available, now there are that don't have so many rules/polices. Plus the fees keep going up - for what - everytime I submit a claim it is denied because it was a pre-existing condition! I called other companies and this is not the case.....I am considering switching to another company.

Happy customer
For the past couple of years, I’ve questioned myself on if we should keep Trupanion as we were blessed to have a happy, healthy pup. About 6 months ago we noticed some changes in our girl. After some serious testing, she was diagnosed with Cushing Disease, something that will affect her for the rest of her life. The treatment for Cushing is very expensive. Thanks to our Trupanion policy, we do not need to worry about the costs for treatment and can focus on helping our girl heal. Thank you Trupanion!
