The best pet Insurance around

I can’t say enough good things about Trupanion. I have never had to use them until this summer and they were wonderful. I really like how when you call customer service you actually talk to a live person and not a machine. I never had to wait to speak with someone and they answered all of my questions on the spot. Truly an amazing company.

Smiled through the Process

I had the claim form and the rundown of the visit and its costs and thought "oh boy now how many hoops am I going to have to jump through". I called a representative to see what else I needed and was told just to submit what I had and they would contact me if further info was required. I faxed the claim in and was prepared to be contacted. Next thing I knew I had a explanation of benefits, which was very clear, and my claim was resolved. I knew in advance the costs would be applied to my deductible but it was still a very uncomplicated process. The representative was very helpful. Hopefully any future claims will be this easy. Please thank the team for me.

I have had trupanion for my previous dog who died of cancer.

I have had trupanion for my previous dog who died of cancer. During her treatment, we spent a tremendous amount of money. Trupanion reimbursed us for those expenses (minus the deduction) very quickly and efficiently. I wish human medical insurances were that easy. :-)

I haven’t been able to fully use my benefits to its fullest potential (thankfully) so I cannot vote a 10 as to the services but the customer service is excellent.

I haven’t been able to fully use my benefits to its fullest potential (thankfully) so I cannot vote a 10 as to the services but the customer service is excellent. Everyone I have spoken with is super helpful in listening and helping you understand your policy and presenting you with the best options that fit your budget. Most insurance companies I feel want to try and get the most money they can out of you, but I have never felt this way. They have worked with me to find what would be the best fit. And they don’t discriminate against breed. I have a Great Dane and they helped me find a plan even though he was middle age at the time.
