I have been with Trupanion for a long time. The people that work there have always been very helpful. I have had several claims this year. My dog Riley has had a tough time the last few months..Trupanion has been there for me they have paid my claims, and taken care of everything. I recommend them to everyone thanks for being there. Trupanion agents are always helpful and professional if I call with a question. The time between filing a claim and payment is quick. My cat has chronic pancreatitis so there are many claims. The insurance is surely a godsend for me because it pays 90% of my bills.

RUN FROM THEM AS FAST AS YOU CAN
I don't know how this company has 4.5 star ratings because it is THE WORST!!! I've had insurance with them since 2016 for my 14 yr old dog who has bad arthritis. I am stuck because of this condition. Every year the monthly premium almost doubles and the coverage goes down. In the beginning they were great, but as the years past by they started denying almost every claim. And the ones they do pay take forever to get reimbursed. I have far too many complaints to write here, but trust me when I say find a different company to insure your pet. I'm so tired of fighting for everything with them, and losing. Things they paid for years are now being questioned and even though I pay extra for the holistic rider on his policy, they find excuses to not cover much of the holistic care. But if you want to pump your pup full of drugs they will pay for that. I think it's time to put that premium payment in a savings account instead of giving it to this horrible company. I'd save money in the long run paying out of pocket rather than this insurance which is more headache than it's worth. I will say they have very nice customer service reps who really feel bad when I call in crying because a claim was denied. It's too bad they work for such a horrible company and can't actually do anything to help. Wish I could give negative stars.

We are so happy to have chosen Trupanion when our Golden Retriever was just a puppy!!
When we brought our puppy home, we decided to purchase pet insurance. We did our research and decided on Trupanion. After 11 1/2 years with Trupanion and on going to this day, we don't have one regret. They are professional, fast and so helpful. I hear from friends who went with other pet insurance companies and am sorry they didn't go with Trupanion. With Trupanion, they are very clear what they cover, there is no fine print. They are as clear as day what they cover. With numerous surgeries (Hip Replacement and Knee surgery) Trupanion has covered 90% of Dakota's care. We are so grateful we had the coverage we did. As Dakota's senior years are here now, having all the care from previous years has helped her enjoy it to the fullest.
