Grateful to Have Nationwide Insurance for my dogs!
This is our second year of having insurance and we were not really sure if it was a smart decision. It was THE BEST decision! The peace of mind that we have now for both our dogs is undeniable. Our oldest is a big klutz and what started as a bump on his leg turned out to be infection that lead to a few weeks of antibiotics and scrubbing his paw and follow ups, etc. Submitting the claims are easily done online and within days the money is deposited into my account that I set up electronically. Again, very easy! Customer Service has been great when I had a question regarding amounts.

Absolutely the WORST service I have…
Absolutely the WORST service I have ever received since starting with your company. Normally processed within 5-7 days this time submitted September 16 and not processed until Oct 9 with no emails explaining what was taking so long. I chatted online with Customer Service who said being processed! Unhappy for the price I pay you each month and especially after you DOUBLED the premium after my dog was sick.

nationwide pulled through!
I have had nationwide since I brought home my dog, Appa, at 8 weeks old. After 3 years, he shattered both his molars at different times 9 months apart. The first visit met the deductible and the second visit was completely covered by Nationwide. The first time, he was chewing on a bone a little too big for his mouth and fractured his tooth. Second time, they think he just was chewing on something at an odd angle because that was his non-dominant side. Thank you nationwide for covering him! Claim was processed and paid out in 2 weeks. :) Thank you!

#1 Pet insurance out there!
If you are looking for total coverage for your pet, then I would recommend Nationwide Pet insurance in a heart-beat. I was a long-time customer of VPI, which was acquired by Nationwide. Although a little pricey, it is well worth it as the "Whole Pet With Wellness Plan" is phenomenal. Using the "Vitusvet" phone application, you can electronically submit claims and get reimbursed within 48 to 72 hours. Their customer service is excellent.

The BEST Insurance For Your Pet
My sweet 4.5 year old Labrador Retriever, Roscoe, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma 3 weeks ago. A decision had to be made quickly as to what care we would be able to give him. He is our everything! We are choosing to fight cancer and Healthy Paws has been behind us every step of the way. They have proven to be reliable and compassionate! Submitting claims is as easy as taking a picture of the invoice and uploading to the app. Roscoe is undergoing chemotherapy and had his front leg amputated. Healthy Paws responded quickly and has paid what was promised with every invoice. It’s seamless and I’m beyond grateful that we have it.

Great Service, Great Insurance
Quality insurance, great coverage. Submiting a claim is super easy. Even though they say 30 days to process, it's typically much less than that and I'm reimbursed almost immediately! The insurance has come in very handy and saved us thousands!

Consistently Great
I have never once had a problem filing claims or getting reimbursed. Five years ago, my cat Bishop had to have a leg amputated, and Healthy Paws covered much of the costs (my policy includes a $500 deductible and 70% coverage). My cat Flannery recently needed a new ureter (which involved a rare surgical procedure), and Healthy Paws promptly reimbursed me for medical costs. I first enrolled in Healthy Paws when my cats were 8 years old. Without pet insurance, there is no way I could have afforded the necessary medical procedures required to keep them alive and healthy. I wish human insurance were this good!
