Mischievous Miss Chief is on the mend!

I never thought that I would need the insurance but a short time ago my cat started loosing weight and behaving unusual. She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She has had the appropriate diagnostics and was just treated for the condition with Radiocat R-131. Treatment to date has been covered as stated in the policy and I see no reason to believe that the Radiocat and followup treatment wouldn't be as well. Thanks!

My dog started vomiting blood was lethargic and had soft stool.

My dog started vomiting blood, was lethargic, and had soft stool. She had not ate for 2 days. I called her vet and they said to take her to ER- which I did. They could not figure out what was wrong with her after doing several tests. Trupanion did not pay at the time because they needed to look into it more. My dog has never vomited blood before or became so lethargic. I was scared. This was sept 21st. On Oct 5th I sent them an email asking why it took so long to process the claim. I got a response saying they are looking into it. Today is Oct 18th and still no response. I am paying for 2 dogs to have insurance thru trupanion. I had heard from a friend that they paid in a timely matter- but I guess they pick and choose who they pay on much like humans insurance- anyway- I am very very disappointed in them. Tomorrow I am taking my dog to her vet since she is still having the same symptoms.
