I’ve had Nationwide pet insurance for several years now. I am extremely satisfied with their service, support, response time and claims processing. While no one likes to pay for insurance, we all know it can be necessary. I feel there is a very good value proposition with Nationwide and satisfied with the return on my investment. I would definitely recommend.

So glad I signed up for this!
I don't usually leave feedback when reviewing but I really want to share how positive my experience has been with this company. First off, it's cheap when you compare what an emergency would cost if something happened. Even without an emergency, one trip to the vet usually takes care of the deductible, so everything after that is covered with a 90% reimbursement! 90% is amazing. That's almost all of it. I don't hesitate when Bella needs to get checked for something, and before I would put it off as long as possible because of the cost (we just couldn't afford it)... knowing we will be reimbursed makes it so much easier. Her skin is being treated the right way now. Without insurance, we would still be treating based on cost instead of quality. There is also an app called VitusVet where you can submit claims electronically, which decreases the reimbursement time tremendously. We get reimbursed within a week using the app. Love this company!

Reassuring to know Nationwide has our dogs backs (and fronts and sides)
I’m not one to take our dogs Otis and Kaspar to the Vet for every little minor mishap or illness, so when I do, it’s reassuring to know they’ll get the special care they need without breaking the bank. Easy to claim, easy to receive, and every customer service experience I have had in our 8 years with Nationwide warrants a rating of “10.”

This insurance is excellent!
This insurance is excellent! The claims process is amazingly simple and confirmation of receipt is almost immediate. I have never waited more than 10 business days for my reimbursement, and that is without using direct deposit! The explanation of benefits is usually available within a week. And amazingly they have always found the expenses I have submitted as within the usual and customary amount for my area, which is more than I can say for my own medical insurance which never does. Most most recent claim was for a substantial amount of money and I received the check to apply to my credit card bill significantly before receiving the bill. Really terrific insurance and has more than paid for itself and has helped to save my little Gatsby's life. Thank you so much!

Our Cavapoo Puppy some how on a walk around our lake in the neighborhood ingested something that put her in a state of mind that We had to rush her to the emergency pet hospital. This was anxiety at its finest with my wife and I on edge when they had trouble sedating her. We had her in the hospital 2 days with the finest care given and we paid the bill on the third day and with ease sent it in via their easy system to Healthy Paws. All I can say is we just received the check today in a ten day period which was so much appreciated. Healthy Paws allowed my wife and I to concentrate on our Pipers recovery. Thank you!! Healthy Paws is by far the best company to have cover your pet!

Nationwide insurance really helped me a lot
