Best Pet Insurance Hands Down
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is the best. We have had this insurance for our dog for a few years now and it has paid off for sure! He's had a rough year with orthopedic issues and they have come through to help us. It's super easy to make a claim and they are so fast! You typically get a check within a week. In addition, after our Buddy had surgery they actually reached out to us to check on him! The customer service is the best. I never write these reviews but these guys deserve it. Several of my friends have signed up too and are very happy. We will be lifelong customers!!!

Took about 3 weeks to get reimbursement…
Took about 3 weeks to get reimbursement for my wellness claim and customer service has extremely long wait times. that said, I still got reimbursed as my policy said I would, I just worry that it will take this long in the future for a potentially more expensive/emergency situation.

Well worth the money
I signed up my dog for Healthy Paws soon after we adopted him and I'm so glad that I did. He ended up needing an endoscopy and soon after that he need teeth extractions done. Both of those procedures were very expensive. But Healthy Paws covered both of those and they saved us so much money. Submitting a claim is easy online. Whenever I have contacted customer support they have been nice and helpful. I was also surprised how quickly my reimbursement was deposited into my bank account. I would highly recommend them. They have a customer for life though! And it's not that expensive.

Unhappy with service and claim processing
Fight to get wellness claims refunded. Still havent received reimbursement for flea meds which I pay extra for to cover wellness. Been over 5 months. Cant wait for year to be over to change companies with cheaper premiums, higher % coverage.

Great company
I got my dog on Embrace's policy when she was really young, I think less than 1 yr old. So, there weren't too many things wrong with her, and I expected a policy with zero pre-existing conditions! However, like literally a day or two before I finalized the policy purchase, she fractured her tooth, and that went on the policy as a pre-existing condition. She also got noted to have two temp ones and another permanent one, which I was surprised to see, but ultimately did not appeal because I felt they were reasonable (two temps were for ear infection and diarrhea, perm was adverse reaction to sutures, she had some issues following her spay). If you're reading this and considering pet insurance, the best advice I can give you is to get it as early as possible. Despite her few pre-existing conditions, my dog ended up needed ACL surgery on her right rear knee, costing us $4000. Embrace covered it all, and we only ended up paying about $400 out of pocket since we used up most of her deductible by then. This one surgery "paid" for like 3 years of coverage from Embrace, and we're expecting that she'll likely need surgery again for her other knee. Be mindful that the longer you wait, the most issues may pop up and end up on the pre-existing conditions list, and after that those issues, and I think issues that stem from those conditions, will never be covered again. The only thing I wish I did different was get Embrace for my dog as soon as I got her at 8 weeks.

Healthy Paws is a wonderful pet…
Healthy Paws is a wonderful pet insurance company. My dog has had chronic problems since we rescued her, so we have been in and out of the vet several times, which is not cheap. Healthy Paws has surely made it more affordable to be able to get the care our girl deserves and make her way back to health. We would not be able to do it without them!

Saved pets life
It really is amazing to know you don’t have to compromise the life of your pet in a critical situation when the Vet gives u an estimate $2500-4500. U sign the papers and know that healthypaws insurance got your back. Sign up early in life and get 90%. It will save u a lot of money. At 4 months our pet broke her paw- that was costly! We were happy we had insurance then. And recently she got stung by a bee and had to spend the night in the hospital due to allergic reaction.. safe to say: $50 a month paid off in the first few months. Hope we r done with vets. But good to know insurance got your back with 2-3 day direct deposit.
