Great service from Trupanion
Our maltese was neutered and had complications because a testicule was embedded inside near a kidney. The extra costs of the operation, which lasted 3 hours according to the vet, was paid (90%) less the deductible. Trupanion handled all the paperwork with the Vet Hospital.

The coverage is misleading.
The coverage is misleading. I had the month free and from my understanding (after talking to a representative on the phone) was $250 deductible with 90% coverage. On a vet bill of 1452.40 out of pocket I paid 867.33 so I'm assuming there were many items/medicines/treatments that were not covered by the insurance. I mean at least I didn't have to pay the full amount but I sure a heck didn't expect to pay as much as I did with this coverage. Customer service was great, friendly and helpful. Coverage was not good. For that reason I would not continue with the coverage and would be very unlikely to reccomend.
