I have used Healthy Paws insurance for two of my dogs, and their service has gone above and beyond for both! I have saved a great deal of money from unexpected medical problems with both dogs. The process of obtaining the insurance is incredibly easy, and the coverage policies based on the percentage of the vet bill are easy to understand and just make sense, unlike the confusing and complicated policies other insurance carriers use. I appreciate how quickly Healthy Paws processes claims and then sends re-reimbursement right back to you. Using Healthy Paws has been the best decision I've made as a pet owner. My puppy, Hayley, began limping on her right front leg about 20 days after I had signed up with Healthy Paws. I thought, at first, that she had just over exercised while playing with another puppy so I gave it a week. After one week she was still limping so off to the vet we went. She was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia and needed surgery to correct the problem before permanent damage to the joint was done. The surgery was not cheap, but Healthy Paws stepped up to the plate and paid the claim even though I had been with them for only 20 days!!! It was a huge help. This company doesn't just make promises, the keep them! Thank you Healthy Paws.

This is my first experience with pet insurance and so happy I chose Embrace. The Company proactively followed up on my claim for my puppy's well visit and a check was sent to me right away.

I have 4 pets insured by Trupanion, and early on realized that I didn't want to have deductible because the bills kept coming to just below the deductible amount. So I pay extra for zero deductible and get 90% reimbursement on everything but preexisting conditions and the standard exam costs. Covers illness and accident only, no preventive or routine care. I have filed numerous claims with them and their turnaround time is very reasonable. My oldest dog has cancer and the bill is already in $5000 range and overall reimbursement has been 85-90% of costs incurred to date.

Within 3 days of bringing home our new puppy, he almost died of distemper. Although he checked out normal at the vet on the way home from the breeder, and he came with a complimentary pet secure trial, we were extremely disappointed that because the vet had not activated the insurance on the day of the exam, they were not able to compensate. How do we have any control over when the vet faxes in the activation??????? very unfair.

Wellness- I filled a wellness claim for my four and half month old min pin. He was nutured, microchipped, received two shots and some pain medication for the surgery it was a little more complicated than orininaly thought so he was given pain meds and antibiotics to go home with also his monthly heart worm treatment which was all covered in the end his final bill was 229.00And our refund was 224.83. I filed the claim on Monday the claim was done by Friday that same week! I couldn't ask for faster service than that!

I have checked out 10 pet insurances and Healthy Paws stood out on top of my list, out of all I had checked out. They were even better after signing up. They are overall the friendliest,caring,and prompt pet insurance company around.They are prompt at getting back to you when they receive the claim forms , and the payouts are sent within a week. I am so grateful for having them for my little Spanky he was admitted for pancreatitis at my vet office though he wasn't getting better, so I ended up at an emergency Hospital while it took a couple days to recover, than before he was about to come home his blood sugar dropped, bottom line he ended up with a rare illness called an insulinoma which is a tumor in the pancreas that puts out too much insulin, Now they recommend surgery to remove it or else he will die within 7 months. What a shock it was to our family. We would have never been able to handle all the high costs of all the tests and surgery if it wasn't for Healthy Paws, they make it possible for us to take care of our Spanky. We can now have him around a lot longer. I would not have been able to do it without Healthy paws,and to top it off they truly care about your pet,they truly want to know how your pet is doing.I also love the fact that they encourage pet adoption. I highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Good thing we went to the ER Hospital. Poor baby just had a bad tummy, but they gave him fluids and anti everything else. What a bill!
