Better than health insurance for people
Overall for the past 7 years that we have had Trupanion coverage for our dog, we have been very impressed with your speed of processing and the generosity of coverage. We wish our human health insurance worked as well! The most recent claims submitted for a new condition were handled in the same efficient manner as always. However, a few weeks ago, I submitted claims for medications that my dog has been taking for 4 years that you somehow started applying deductibles to because you misassigned the ailments to the meds. When I called to inquire, Although you reviewed my claims history and determined you had made the error, the only way I can get it corrected is to file an appeal which requires a statement from my vet. Inconvenient for me and my vet!!

Still on the fence. Ashley was very nice and helpful. But its been a month and still no word yet about my claim and if I'm getting any money back. I was under the impression that because it was sent in from the Vets office that it would be processed more timely and you covered more then Nationwide. Still waiting to see what the decision is
