Took a while but worked
First claim for a particular disease took almost 2 months. Not before being denied because the primary vet (who did not even treat the condition at all) supposedly didn't send the initial history paperwork. Although they claim they did.

Can’t recommend enough
After 7 years, my experience with Trupanion has never been anything short of spectacular! My claims are done SOO quickly that not even my vet can believe it! I had some questions I needed answered and called Trupanion. They were very easy to get through to. Kathleen was exceptionally nice. She was very patient with me and answered all my questions clearly. I have not had to use my insurance as yet which I am grateful for but I know when I need to Trupanion will be there for me. I was with another company for 15 yrs but changed due to the exorbitant cost. My Veterinary Clinic suggested Trupanion so that spoke volumes to me! They told me Trupanion is very easy to deal with!
