After lots of research, I purchased embrace pet insurance when Baxter was just a puppy. Hes a basset hound and I was worried about future breed related health issues ( which hasn't been a problem). He is three now and I have filed a few claims this year with no issues at all. Responses have been polite and timely. This insurance makes the decision process easier for seeking treatment and allows me to focus on my pet rather than the bill. Like all insurance, you must read the coverage and limitations.

There are many details I could give you about the specific illnesses my puppies have had and how much fear comes over you when they are sick you just don't know what's wrong. But the bottom line is, that because I have Healthy Paws, I don't need to worry that I can't afford treatment. I would do anything for my dogs but one of the best things I have done for them is get them covered so that I make the right medical decisions for them when they are sick instead of a financial ones. Healthy paws is easy to use, and has approved my claims within hours of me submitting the paperwork. They have paid according to my plan and they even followed up to see how my dog was feeling after he was admitted to the hospital for a few days. I wish my medical insurance was as responsive as they are. I am one happy customer and because of Healthy Paws, I feel that my puppies are safer.

I have been very pleased with Embrace service. Their customer support has been exceptional, the coverage is exactly as described and claims have been hassle free. My SO had VPI and changed as soon as he saw how much easier Embrace was, how much faster and easier claims were. My last claim was processed and i received my reimbursement in under 7 days. Amazing. A+.

Took about a month to get check from my dog's ER visit but otherwise embrace has been great. the plan I have covers 80% of my french bulldog's bills. they do not cover day boarding when he needs to be at physical therapy for over a few hours though. would recommend.

Follow on visit to referred dermatologist from our regular vet, and the process for claiming the eligible costs is simple. The refund arrived within a week, as usual. Always excellent response time and never any surprises about the payment.

We recently found out that our Brandi girl needed to have both her Knee's Replaced due to an injury. I submitted for a Pre-Approval with Trupanion for the first knee. They were so quick to get the pre-approval completed and Brandi was booked in for surgery just days after approval. She is now 3 weeks into healing and is doing so well. Trupanion had sent out payment before the weeks end after her surgery. I cannot say enough of how good Trupanion is. They truly care about your pets well being, they follow up and complete things on a very timley basis. If you don't already have pet insurance I highly recommend purchasing it and I recommend Trupanion 110%.
