Incredibly happy with this insurance!

I did a LOT of thorough research on pet insurance as we have a puppy English Bulldog, which are prone to so many health issues (most of which are excluded in other insurance plans like VPI - i.e. cherry eye, ACL issues, etc). Luckily we got the insurance at the perfect time -- one month after getting the policy she got pneumonia, then a slew of other skin allergy issues, none of which were previous conditions. I've regligiously submitted my bills and forms via fax, and through the process have spoken to the Pets Best customer service reps many times over the phone -- everytime they are responsive, helpful, and compassionate. The are able to answer my questions honestly, and provide me with info that I sometimes even forget to ask! I've called to ensure that a specific procedure is covered - and they always give me a straight answer. I've never been led astray by Pets Best, and they have covered every one of my vet bills just as promised -- $75 deductible on every diagnosis, and then they pay at 80% of the remainder. EVERY TIME. I highly recommend Pets Best, and have encouraged all my other bulldog owning friends to sign up ASAP. Thank you Pets Best for being so helpful! 8/21/2008

Not satisfied

I have carried PetCare Insurance since 2005. Of the five claims I have submitted, three have had to be reevaluated because they incorrectly linked his ear infection to allergies (excluded), which in all three cases, were not. Although they consistantly say that ear infections are not an exclusion, they deny my claims and require me to get a statement from my vet saying they are not linked. My dog is too old and would have too many pre-existing conditions for me to change insurance companies at this point, bu I cannot in good conscience recommend thenm to others. They make it too hard and have required me to fight for every reimbursement.

Head and Shoulders Above The Rest!

I’ve been using pet insurance for over 10 years, and have experience with a half-dozen companies. I’ve been using Embrace since Summer 2007, and have submitted claims for a minor condition in one of my cats, and more recently, many claims for a serious condition in my kitten. Embrace has handled all claims beautifully – their claims process is streamlined, efficient, and fast. Their customer service is not only the best of any pet insurance I've used, but of *ANY* company I've ever dealt with. Good experience with first claim

My 6 month old Dobe ate a sewing needle and needed a surgical extraction and extended care. Submitted $550+ claim and got $329.00 back. Took a bit longer than I expected... but the customer service folks were friendly and showed me the new claim check feature they installed online. I'd recommend after this experience.

Great Service

We had always passed on pet insurance in the past viewing the purchase quite cynically. Our beloved 16 year old cocker Sam passed away two years ago and in light of the extraordinary expenses incurred in his geriatric care, we decided our next dog would be insured. Our vet recommended Petsecure for, Friday, a beautiful chocolate American Cocker. Thank goodness -- treating his skin problems associated with his allergies has, since January, already cost in excess of $1,000. You can fax the necessary receipts and form to Petsecure and expect reimbursement within two weeks. It's easy, painless, and takes the sting out of the vet's bill. We would wholeheartedly recommend this plan.

Outstanding customer service and fast payment .

I have 3 wonderful cats. I have found Embrace to be absolutely wonderful. They explain the policy very well and covered the services for my 1 year old cat. When you set up direct deposit with them, you simply have your claim paid and the funds deposited into your account. They let me know they received the claim the day they received it and processed the claim within 24 hours stating I should have my payment within 5 days. Now that is service. I highly recommend Embrace for any pet owner. I rate them a 20 out of a top of 10!

Would not recommend

We bought this insurance last year when we brought our new puppy home. They initially covered his shots and one other claim. Embrace had no problems taking our monthly fee, but when we file claims...they found any excuse NOT to pay them. We are NOT happy with Embrace!!! We'll be going with another insurance company.

Humbled and Grateful!!!

My Ginger is an American White Shepherd. She is beautiful and she simply is my bud. I have AIDS and am disabled and when I got her I new that emergncies would come up. There are wonderful services for people who have disabilities, but they have limits and income barriers in which I do not qualify for... Finding Embrace Pet Insurance has been like the X factor that has corrected a ship in allowing me to know what ever it is that needs to be done, that I can just do it. I don't have to hesitate or put my Ginger through pro-longed waits, waiting for approval and so on... Ginger has kept me engaged in life and I am grateful that I found an insurance company that realizes the stress's of having a sick family member. Embrace has been wonderful from the very beginning, I needed the insurance this year for the first time. And, I am so grateful that I took out the insurance to take care of her... The review of the claims submitted were promptly handled and someone was always able to provide me with a status. I am so blessed and full of gratitude for Embrace Pet Insurance, doesn't the title say it all, and its' TRUE!!!

Pets Best Health Insurance IS the best!

I did a lot of research before I chose Pets Best. I actually had a free policy through a competitor, and my dog got ill right out of the shelter with a bacterial upper respiratory infection, and they found a reason not to pay the bill. So, when buying a policy, they were NOT on my list. I searched through tons of reviews and kept seeing lots of good things about Pets Best. So, I tried it, and I added the wellness plan. Willow just had an office visit with shots, and I went online and submitted my claim and had my refund in about 10 days! It was SO easy! I really appreciated it, and I felt like I made a good choice in Pets Best. Thank you, Pets Best for a good 'first time' experience! I look forward to a long relationship with your company.

Simply the best!

I have 2 cats (we lost the third late '08), 1 dog and two 60 gallon fish tanks. Having insurence was always in the back of my mind, but I never seemed to do it. I was the lucky winner of the Petsecure Pet Month contest and 1 year of pet insurance was just one of the many wonderful prizes I recieved. I count my blessing that I have never had to use it, but have a small dog(Pomeranian) in what seems to be a big dog world, it sets my mind at ease. It was easy to register and they sent me out a complete package outlining exacty what was covered. There are not many things they don't cover and at a reasonable price. When I called them they were very friendly and helpful. Petsecure has my vote for a top notch company with excellent customer service! I will continue to keep insurance on my dog with Petsecure even after my year has expired! I would reccomend anyone with a pet to explore Petsecure's options. I did a little exploring prior to winning the contest and was not very happy with what I found as other companys did not meet my needs.
