Excellent service and quick processing of our claim

The customer service provided by Embrace has been excellent. They have exceeded our expectations. The process was filing a claim for our dog's heartworm treatment was easy and the turn around time on processing the claim was very quick. I have been delighted with their response.

Unbelievable!!!!

When we first were looking for insurance for our puppy Newphy Roxy all we heard was - it does not make sense to get pet insurance. It is a waste of money, they do not cover anything or they do not pay. Well, that is not the case with Embrace. When Roxy had to be brought in for emergency surgery the bill was over $4,000. Not only did Embrace pay the actual cost (Minus deductable) of the procedure but we were re-reimbursed within 2 weeks of the procedure. I could not recommend Embrace enough!

I feel deceived!

I've had the cat accident plan for 2.5 years with no claims. I submitted my first claim for a bite wound abscess, just to be told that it wasn't covered. It clearly states on the website that abscesses are covered under the accident plan, but I was informed that the plan on the website is the NEW accident plan. I have the OLD accident plan and its not covered on that. I feel deceived and I'm canceling immediately. I just wish I'd read more reviews before I chose this company.

Insured for 6+ years - ALL positive

We have had PetCare QuickCare Gold for 6 years for our mutt. We did this after an emergency room visit that cost us $900. Since then it has paid for itself every year - and they pay promptly. They did exclude the infection and illness from the ER visit but there has never been a relapse for that. Every year we consider not renewing but then something happens (cut paws, infection, and once pancreatitis) that makes us reknew. The price has gone up so this year we considered another plan. Had to submit TONS of paperwork and then they excluded EVERYTHING. We renewed with PetCare. It has gotten expensive but we are at least even with our expenses - and the dog is a larger mixed breed and he is 7 years old. We figure we'll come out okay from here.

Great!

This is my first experience as an adult pet owner (I had pets when I was a kid, but no responsibilities). I researched reviews for several pet insurance companies and Embrace seemed to have the most favorable, so I went with them. I've had them for about 4 months now and have submitted one Wellness claim, for my puppy's neutering and microchip. The process was quick and painless, and I got my check in what seemed to be a blink of an eye. Terrific customer service...I got quick responses any time I had an inquiry. The only thing I wish they had was an interactive website showing my account and activity. I think if Embrace had that, it would be a 10, no doubt. Thank you Embrace! Hopefully I won't need to use you very often, but the peace of mind I receive is worth it!

won't pay for covered procedure.

My Yorkie was diagnosed with bladder stones five days after my re-newal date and surgery was set up. I called ASPCA to make sure this was covered (since he'd never been treated for this before). I was told it would be but when the claim was sent in, they said he developed these stones in a prior plan period. I tried to reason with them, but they were unreasonable and i just got mad. Now the vet is trying to get the claim through, but is having trouble. I would not recommend this insurance for anyone who loves their pets.

Easy, Friendly, Good Value

I have used other pet insurance companies, but none have compared to the quality of customer service and value for money provided by Pet's Best Insurance. I am notified when claims are filed, the claims turn around is within a couple of days, and there appears to be a no-hassle policy in force because I receive compensation wihtout a quibble. This company deserves attention!

Pets Best Insurance for older cat

I have Pets Best Insuance and got it because there are not many companies that would insure an older cat ( one over 8 years). Fortunately I had bought the insurance in time not for my older cat but my younger one ( under 8 years) She soon after was diagnosed with renal failure and we had to put her to sleep. Because we had the insuance I felt that our decisions were based on what was best for our cat, Tootsie, and not based on finances. Pets best was very quick and efficient on paying 80% of the vet bill and emergency care facility bill. We were very happy with that aspect. I however am NOT too happy reading that Pets best can cancel your policy if they feel you are too much of a risk and therefor if your pet should come down with say cancer or another chronic disease then Pets Best can cancel your policy. And if they did something like that it would leave you STUCK as no other Pet insurance company would take you as you would then have pre-existing conditions. We recently got a puppy and I further researched other companies. I signed my new puppy up with PETPLAN. They gaurantee you renewal each year for the LIFE of your pet and have higher limits ( $8,000/$12,000/ $20,000)and each year the amount resets so you do not have any LIFETIME limits. This is important if your pet comes down with a chronic medical condition. I would suggest everyone reading this to look into PETPLAN for these reasons alone. I know, I spent days researching and reading the various pet insurance policies. Also PETPLAN covers heretity and genetic problems. I am VERY HAPPY WITH PETPLAN and plan to insure my new kitten with them as well.

Don't Choose Embrace

I paid Embrace in excess of $80 a month for my two very young cats, the first for just about a year and the second for about six months when I made my first claim. I'd taken my just over a year-old female cat to the vet because she had diarrhea. Embrace called the condition pre-existing because 11 months earlier, when I originally brought her home from Petco, I must have told the vet that saw my cat for a check-up a day after I got her, that she had slightly loose stools...not diarrhea. In any event, at that time, I'm sure it was from either fear of being in a new home or a change in her diet from what she was used to. At that time no vet was seen for any specific problem, only to have her checked out since I'd just gotten her. The call of a pre-existing condition was ludicrous. Once Embrace can call a diarrhea pre-existing, anything that remotely has that symptom can be denied by them...anything! It was a tricky and unethical loophole that they were creating to protect themself. Fortunately, I was only out (ahem) about $800 in wasted insurance preumiums, but you can be sure that I canceled my policy the very next day. If you're getting insurance for peace of mind, before you choose Embrace, please consider what I've said.
