After researching many reviews and options, we decided nearly a year ago, to give Healthy Paws a try for our new puppy. The plan was affordable, no crazy exclusions, and offers a high reimbursement level. We wanted to make sure our puppy would be covered in case anything would happen. Let's be honest, pets are family. You wouldn't let a human member of the family just suffer if something was weong, right? We have had 3 claims in the last year due to our pup being a little sick, all unrelated issuea. But the most recent claim was last week, when out dog had aspirated on her own vomit. We rushed her to the vet, where she was listed as steady, but had to remain at the vet for 3 days to treat her beginning pneumonia caused by the aspiration. Her bill came to $600 and again we were so thankful we had insurance to cover nearly all the cost. We are happy and thrilled that we don't have to play the waiting game with her health because of costly vet bills. Healthy Paws gives us the peace of mind that our Penny will always be in great health and good care. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Our claims have always been processed within 48 hours of submission, with the last being processed in less than 24 hours! The claim process is unbelievably easy! I recently submitted another claim against my Wellness Plus Plan and my claim was reimbursed again in full by Embrace. So far so good! Each time I have called Embrace the customer service people are super nice and very helpful. If you can, purchase the Wellness Plus Plan because it does cover a lot of things and to get a $400 allowance for just the annual fee of $299 is well worth it!

After sending in a claim it was 4 days when the claim was completed. When calling a payment the girls are extremely kind and caring. They always ask how my dog is doing, Thank you

We submitted a preapproval claim to them before her surgery. They told exactly what they would pay. After her surgery we submitted the final bill to them. Within one week of the surgery we received an email telling us their check to us was being sent. I would recommend this insurance to anyone that has a pet.

This was the first claim I ever submitted so Trupanion required my cat's entire medical record from all (3) veterinarians who had ever seen her. Her emergency treatment for ingesting my prescription medication was on March 15 and the reimbursement check from Trupanion was in my checking account on March 25. My medical insurance should be so fast!!!

I enrolled along with the wellness plan and so far everything has been great. I love the no limit on specified benefit like Flea and tick preventives and etc. I just wish the the premiums were lower.

After i submitted a claim for my dogs ACL repair i got a letter in the mail saying that from now on they will only pay 40%not the normal 80%. I called and was told a manual review of the file would be done and someone would get back to me but nothing, as i expected. They said this was done by computer and all files were checked every six months i said if thats the case i have not had a claim in the last six months.
