Fantastic Pet Insurance
I am new to Pet Insurance and wasn't sure if it was right for us but then found Healthy Paws and thought we'd give it a try. Well thank goodness we had them! Our Pug began to suffer from some GI difficulties and we submitted our first claim. Once Healthy Paws had his medical records, the claim was processed in a blink of an eye! You submit your claim one day, it gets processed the next and a check is sent! It's that crazy fast! We love Healthy Paws! They have made our sweet boy's illness easier to deal.

To long of wait time
Submitted a claim for diarrhea and the entire bill was turned down. Did not know you have to wait a year that's right a full year before they will consider it.
We got the dog from a pound 3 years ago and she got diarrhea about 8 months ago that claim was denied. So 8 months later the dog ate something on the ground got sick and diarrhea again sense it happen in a 1 year window the claim was denied again.
So after the higher premiums ($70 a month) paid over a year and a half it covered nothing. I assumed diarrhea would be wellness NOPE!

Amazing wellness plan!
I just received a check from Embrace for wellness claim. Turn around was less than a week. My cat needed a teeth cleaning and one extraction. I don't think any other insurance companies cover up to $400 for preventative care. Their response is always very fast and caring. I am impressed!

Fair and Fast
I wish my family's insurance worked as fairly and quickly as Embrace does for our dog Nacho! Seriously, through a rather scary time working out some early potential hip dysplasia scares Embrace has always said what they were going to do, namely helping us through the difficulty of an already trying time. Every claim has been responded to quickly and the decisions explained clearly and fairly. Never having purchased pet insurance before, I've quickly become a convert to the benefit.

Read the Fine Print
Be sure to read the fine print when signing up for an ASPCA plan. My dog had to have major ligament surgery ligament surgery 8 months after we registered her with ASPCA and, to our surprise, they don't cover major surgeries like this until TWELVE months after initial coverage begins. Some reviewers referenced the peace of mind that ASPCA provided. Well, ours was ripped out from underneath us when we found out that our quarterly payment of $225 to ASPCA gave us zero safety net for this type of injury. Now we are down the full $3300 surgery plus the $1000 per year we pay ASPCA. Thanks for nothing.
