Outstanding service
I bought Healthy Paws insurance for my Biewer Terrier puppy. My puppy was ill had to receive emergency care. The Healthy Paws claims personnel handled the claims promptly and were very kind to check on my puppy to see how he was feeling. The personal service and thoughtfulness was unexpected but very much appreciated during a very stressful time. I would never have believed I would endorse an insurance company but Healthy Paws has thus far exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Healthy Paws!

Not Recommended
Next year I'm going to switch back to Healthy Paws. They might be the slightest bit more expensive, but they are SO kind, accurate and quick. Customer Service provided incorrect information the first time I called, so I was of the impression I would be reimbursed for a vet visit, only to find out I wouldn't be due to the time frame. Then, to top it off, the condition I thought my pup would be reimbursed for was then considered a 'pre-existing condition' and wasn't reimbursed at all. I've paid more out of pocket PLUS the deductibles PLUS the portions not covered PLUS the monthly payment. The 1 time I have been reimbursed, it wasn't fully reimbursed and it took over a month to receive just partial payment. When I called to smooth this out, the lady did nothing to resolve the mistakes made on their end and instead kept apologizing in the oddest way. I thought maybe she was confused that my pet had died and I had to ask her why she was apologizing, it was an uncomfortable phone call. Pets Best is by no means the worst experience I've ever had, that's why I don't mind finishing out the year with them, but the amount I have paid out anyways just isn't worth it.

Such an easy process
It was so nice to not have to fight with an insurance company about ANY claims. I had my boy Scooby who had to get a plate taken out, then he got MSRP, so he was in and out of the Animal Hospital for a few months, and everything was covered immediatly. Saved me almost $6k in a month.

Signing our puppy up for Embrace Insurance was the smartest thing we could have done!
We signed him up as a young puppy and for a number of years only used the Wellness Benefits. However he has since had several (expensive!) medical issues that have developed. Literally, each and every time we have sent in a claim the claim was processed quickly and we were very quickly reimbursed according to the terms of his policy. We had a question or two one time and got a friendly and accurate explanation of the issue...we have always been quickly reimbursed and the time we contacted them they were friendly, easy to understand, and understood our needs. This policy has made these unexpected medical expenses for our dog affordable and has helped us keep his issues under doctor's care.

Worth having
I’m very happy so far with this insurance. It is definitely a good thing to have with a new puppy. I hope that it stays affordable as he gets older. I like knowing that if he needs to go to the veterinarian that he will get the best care that I can affordably provide.

i feel my dog who is a schnauzer/poodle mix is well taken care of with nationwide pet insurance.
Tinker Belle is coming along well. She is on seizure medication for about a year now and under control. She also came down with pancreatitis the end of last August. After a complete change of her eating habits and putting her on scripted dog food and getting the blood work done and then rechecked she is doing very well. I do not give her any people food. She only gets scripted dog treats. Very active little six year old.

Having insurance for Tobi gives me peace of mine that nationwide insurance is there to help get him better care faster.
It gives me peace of mind that my Tobi can have the care he needs quicker as he gets older than I normally would be able to do without having to save up the money or wait on until I could afford something he might need!

Quick and Easy Claim Filing
Nationwide is a good insurance to have for a pet. Just wish that the limits were higher for the different problems a pet may have.
