Much better than the alternatives

I previously had SPCA pet insurance and Embrace is much better. They offer many different customizable levels of coverage and they are generally quick about paying claims. Perhaps the best part is that they cover conditions that most companies will not cover (hip dysplasia in labs for instance).

Reliable/timely

We have had four dogs over the last 20 years - we currently have two labs - the youngest is Sadie. She is constantly getting into trouble. My sister calls her Marlene because she is a female "Marley" (mischievious, incorrigible, and totally lovable." Sadie continues to get in predicaments that result in her getting hurt - cut paws, you name it - she does it. PetHealth hs been an excellent insurer - they respond to our claims quickly via email, then send the reimbursement shortly thereafter. It is easy to submit a claim and we are very pleased with the value-level coverage. We love our pup and know if anything terribly serious happens to her, we can quickly take care of her and be reimbursed. A good insurance company with excellent customer service. I especially like the $100 annual deductible. Works well with this pup.

Great customer service

This is my first experience with Pet Insurance, and so far, I'm very pleased. They don't have the integrated website features that other companies have, but this is more than made up for with the very responsive customer service. Claims are processed fairly and in a very timely manner. I recommend Embrace to anyone looking for a pet insurance company. Unfortunately Embrace isn't licensed by the state of California, and I had to sign a waiver acknowledging this. But I feel comfortable that Embrace is a solid company, and not very concerned about that. The Wellness plan is a good idea if you plan on spending over $200 a year (including any medications). You end up saving $50 there automatically, plus you can get up to 20% off your plan with a) a 5% promotion code, b) paying premium in full (5%), c) your pet is neutered or fixed (5%), d) your pet is microchipped (5%). It's also an Ohio-based company, and people in the midwest are usually very courteous and pleasant to deal with.

Blessed To Have !!

Good Morning, I am writing to Thank You for the insurance i have thru your company. Millie, My rescued Beagle had a tough life before she found us. I am so Blessed to have this insurance as Millie has needed surgery for tumors on her underside. She has also had a hernia operation. And she found her self eating chocolate covered nuts !! Needless to say , I had this insurance which paid for 80% of the cost for all these surgerys !! In these tought econmic times I could not ask for more than i have gotten from this insurance policy . I have had other Pet insurance in my time but NONE even come close to the policy I have with you !! my other Begal Corkey is covered too but has not had to use the insurance but i know if something would happen you would be here to save the day !! I cant praise you enought !! Millie, Cokey and I thank you !! Keep up the Great Job !! Have a Blessed Day !! Brian

Quick & accurate claim processing!

I was pleased to see that Pet's Best lived up to it's promise to process claims quickly. We received a check for the expected amount within two weeks of faxing the claim. Our insurance made it easier to decide to proceed with testing when Cassi developed a high fever.

Very Glad I had this policy

I have 2 dogs, one only eats her food, the other eats anything that will fit in her mouth. The first time she needed surgery to clean out her digestive track, we had no Insurance and it cost us 1200.00, after that I was not taking any chances and did some research and found Pets Best and signed them both up. Well she messed up her stomach again, but this time she did not need surgery, but her vet bill was 822.00 and I was more than happy to pay 144.40 and not the total bill. I will never have any of my animals uninsured again. Pets best turn around time is great and now that you can do it on line makes your check arrive even faster. I have recommended Pets Best to many of my friends, this ins. is affordable and pays for itself if you have one sickness or accident, I looked at many different policies and Pets Best gave you more bang for your buck.

Responsive customer service

My 7-year-old bichon/lhasa mix has had Embrace insurance since he was 3. Recently he had 4 seizures within a couple of weeks. We are still investigating possible causes, but we've made four trips to two different vets, and already have heard that our first claims have been processed. I am so impressed with the humanity and courtesy of all the "Embracers." Emails are prompt and clearly explain what has been done. I even got one email saying that our claim was in the queue and not to worry that it had fallen into a black hole! Another time when I called with a question, the person I spoke to was very kind and solicitous of our pet's welfare. I did my research before we chose Embrace, and all of the positive comments I read have proved to be correct.

ER visit

After having ASPCA pet insurance for years with no major incidents, our dachshund had an "edible teeth-cleaning treat" become lodged like a cork in his intestines. The $5,000 claim was processed promptly and with the 80%reimbursement we were able to pay a good portion of the credit card bill when it arrived. I had a positive experience with the reimbursement process. I am concerned about the pre-existing clause should our dachshund ever face an injury or illness that carries over the policy renewal period.

Fast response!

Embrace reimbursed our wellness claim for flea & tick medication fast and without any problems. The customer service folks are a joy to work with and I would highly recommend this product.
