I purchased Trupanion 3 years ago when I adopted Annabelle at 8 weeks old. This was my first claim submission. I had two invoices from two vet clinics; one Annabelle's regular vet and one an Emergency animal hospital (on a Sunday. The claims process was very simple - a single page form and copy of invoice. Best part, I didn't have to get either claim form signed by anyone! I submitted both claims on Monday, June 30th and received payment on Saturday, July 5th! Very impressed by the quick payment - especially with this being my first claim. I'm VERY HAPPY with Trupanion!!

My Girl had her ACL done about 6 weeks ago now and recently had to return for her reevaluation which included anesthesia and X-Rays. Emabrace processed and paid the claim quickly.

I am so happy we chose Healthy Paws for our pet insurance of our little Dog Dudley. He is more than a dog to us he is part of our family. For this reason after adopting him the first thing we did was get Healthy Paws insurance. Since the start of 2014 Dudley ate something and got sick so we had to take him into our vet. I was impressed Healthy Paws processed our claim and we got a check in a week. Just recently Dudley had a problem with his Patella. It kept coming out and was very painful for the little guy. At one point it came out 4 times in a day and was taking longer to go back in. Talking with our Vet he mentioned that he could do the surgery. I really wanted a specialist and he refereed us to a Orthopedic surgeon who specializes in repairing Luxating Patella. I was a little concerned about the cost and if Healthy Paws would allow us to have a specialist do the surgery instead of our local vet. I called them up and they said we can go to the specialist and that we not need any referral. That really made me feel good to know we were in control of our dogs health care. I wish my health care insurance was a good as my dogs... It has been almost three weeks since Dudley had the surgery and he is doing well and on his way to recovery. We are so happy with Healthy Paws. I submitted the claim on Monday and had the refund check in the mail Saturday. If you are looking for Pet Insurance choose Healthy Paws you won't be disappointed. I will be more than happy to write up this review giving a "10+" rating to Trupanion Pet Insurance and their caring and prompt service. Our family adopted our American Pit Bull Terrier, Ke'ala from a high-kill shelter in Southern California last August, 2013. She was 14 weeks old and just fit into our family very well. She came to us with numerous "Cooties" from the shelter such as worms and other intestinal maladies, but with the great care from our fantastic vets at Rolling Hills Animal Hospital in San Pedro, CA, she grew up into a beautiful animal. She turned 1 on 6/8/14, and a week later, things took a strange turn. She started limping, and when we took her to our vet, she was x-rayed and diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia. The x-rays also revealed a wedging of her spinal bones which was very concerning to our vet. Within 24 hours, Ke'ala was lame (she could not walk more than 3 steps without collapsing) with signs of neurological symptoms of lack of sensation /pain response in her back legs. We took her to a speciality hospital which evaluated her right away. They were great. But TRUPANION was just awesome. Their critical "pre-authorization" process got her the care she needed right away along with the security that we would not have to worry with covering this payment. Not only did they cover her neuro work-up, but again due to the critical pre-authorization process, they covered her 1st of 4 proposed surgeries that allow her to walk again. TRUPANION IS A GOD S

Did you know that 1 out of 250 dogs will develop incontinence after being spayed or neutered ? I didn't !!! Well my poor Jesse was that one. Trupanion was there for us ! No questions asked ! Every couple of months I get her meds (that she has to take twice a day) I submit the receipt and its reimbursed ! Trupanion is awesome ! Reimbursements are quick, response time on my submission is super fast and their customer service is top notch ! This is one decision I made that I am very thankful for ! Thank you Trupanion !
