Continuing Care Not Covered after Policy Renewal

I had this insurance for my cat who was diagnosed with cancer last year. It was not curable, but she could have a good quality of life with medicine to manage her symptoms. ASPCA insurance covered her expenses, but when the policy renewed (which happens every year)they would no longer pay any claims for her continuing care.If you were unfortunate to have an accident or illness happen right before the policy renewed, the care would not be covered after that arbitrary date. What a horrible position to put a pet parent in after they have been paying premiums for years. I had otherwise been pleased with ASPCA, but I will not enroll another pet with them after this happened. There are other policies out there with similar premiums who do not do this.

Very Pleased

I researched 12 companies before deciding on Embrace for our English Bulldog Puppy -Tugger. We are completely thrilled with out choice so far and really appreciate the courteous and quick service we have recieved. Plus, the coverage for our boy to have great medical care, to me there was no comparison from all I researched. We are very happy Embracers!

Delighted with this insurance coverage!

I have been a dog lover all my life and with my former Westie, who lived to age 17 1/2, used another pet insurance co. That was terribly disappointing and found a reason to deny coverage for almost anything: worthless. ASPCA pet insurance is the most comprehensive and owner friendly company I have dealt with in this category of business. I am delighted with their efficiency, follow-through and genuine professionalism. I have recommended them to all my pet loving friends. Great company with significant value for money. Well done!!

Good insurance company

There pricing has been consistent. Customer service and processing is great. I wish they covered part of the doctors exam.

Solid Service

I did a lot of research prior to choosing my pet insurance. I did so much that I got overwhelmed and walked away for awhile, and then came back to it. Embrace was the clearly the best choice when I came back with fresh eyes. The telephone customer service is very prompt and polite. The emails are clear. The Wellness rewards are awesome (I just regret not getting the higher level of wellness rewards--it's amazing how quickly the wellness-related bills add up). I also think that the things that the insurance plans cover are ideal for the consumer and make sense. The only thing I wasn't clear about from the beginning was having to have all the vets that my pets had seen fax over information. Additionally, asking the vet to fill out the form for an accident/illness claim is a little stressful, but I think that all pet insurances ask for this.

Awesome Pet Insurance

I have been using ASPCA pet insurance for three years now. I cannot say one bad thing about them. This review is in general because I have utilized it over and over for my cats - 10 year old and my two 2 1/2 year olds. I adopted my 10 year old when he was 8 and added him to the insurance and there were no issues whatsoever, which is great because I had no idea of his medical condition for his first 8 years. It gives me great peace of mind to know that I have great medical insurance for them. I have recommended ASPCA pet insurance to many people and will continue to do so. Thank you for helping me provide my boys with the best medical care possible!

Really, Really Good

So I never do these review things. I rely on them but rarely fill them out (I know ...). That being said, my dog recently passed after an illness of many months. Almost $9,000 in claims. Embrace - NEVER - questioned anything. Not a chemo protocol, a procedure, nothing. After my deductible they simply paid 90% within a week or two. I did have one of the higher level plans. After my dog died more than one customer service person reached out to share their condolences. It was not cheap coverage but in the end they delivered as promised.

Thank you, ASPCA pet insurance !

We insured our newly adopted puppy at my mom's suggestion- just in case! Turns out, our little darling in a rock eater. This is a very expensive proposition. Thank goodness we have had her two surgical claims paid by this insurance. They are very nice and call to check on her after her surgery, too.

Great Service and Quick Reimbursement

After paying expensive vet charges a few times after adopting Dez for a year plus, I had decided on Healthy Paws for his insurance coverage after researching online on several pet insurance companies. Dez is 7 year old when I enrolled him in a plan that has a $250 annual deductible, 90% reimbursement level on treatment fees, but exclude vet exam, preventative care, and pre-existing conditions. I am paying a monthly premium of $52.98. The conditions stated are clear, and since last August's enrollment, I had claimed several times, and got reimbursement of near to $3000 in total. I appreciate Healthy Paws' staffs for their great and caring service, and also for its coverage which make it more affordable for me to keep Dez in better health. Thanks a lot!
