Great coverage with a company that cares.

My 4 month old puppy had a medical issue that fell into a gray area in my policy. The Healthy Paws staff took the extra time to review and understand all the details and circumstances of my claim and did additional reviews. There were several phone calls during this process to keep me up to date so I never felt like I was just a number. I was very pleased with the final decision. After we settled the claim the check arrived within days and I received several emails checking on my dogs well being. I appreciate the extra effort made by all the Healthy Paws staff. This a company that really cares.

Accurate, professional and compassionate

This is our second occasion to submit a claim to Trupanion and once again the service was excellent. An update on the submission process was, either by e-mail or phone, was always very professional with very little need to question the payment process. Thank you once again for keeping your standards so high!

Older Dog insured

My older dog was 10 when I realized I wanted to have her covered. Pets Beat was the only insurance company I could find that was willing to insure her. The rate was fairly reasonable and the coverage was fair. The fact that she could now be covered was a load off my mind. After, they always processed and paid claims promptly. Thanks Pets Best!

Ins repayment

I recently put in our first claim with Trupanion. My gsd was diagnosed with pancreatitis, it came on extremely fast and was scary! The customer service at Trupanion is great and when I asked how I go about making a claim the woman i spoke to was so helpful that I asked about some other issues we had with our staffy. She was adopted 3years ago and recently had a pellet surface in her face, we had the pellet removed and never thought about putting in a claim because we thought that would be considered pre-existing. The woman I spoke to told me to file the claim because we didn't have previous knowledge of the injury. Our claim was initially lost, once I called it was cleared up rather quickly and both claims were paid out. My only complaint is that our rates went up a couple days later.

Love this company!

Embrace has really come through for us. We don't have a lot of money so it has been nice to know that we would never have to make a financial decision about our dogs' healthcare. One of my dogs had a $2400 surgery after swallowing plastic. We received about $1800 back. It would have been a significant hardship if not for our coverage.

Great Coverage

I am happy with Embrace, my policies and coverage. The claim processing has slowed down some, but the bottom line is the coverage the provide. I understand they went through a computer conversion which understandably slowed them down with claim processing. I am pleased with Embrace and the coverage they provide.

Great until your pet gets older and sicker

In the beginning, this company was very good. When my dog had an ruptured ACL, they paid the claim, but that didn't fix the problem and they had to do a 2nd operation to remove her minicus. They covered most of this operation, but charged me another deductible and she ended up maxing out the muscular/skelatal category of $3,000. When she needed surgery on the other knee for the same issues, none of this was covered. They make you believe that it is a $3,000. max. for each injury, but it is 3,000 for each injury AND category for Life. That means any other bone my dog breaks is not covered. While these surgeries were being done, my dog has been diagnosed with a thyroid problem and a kidney problem, which she has special food and medication for. Everytime I submit invoices for the food (which they only pay 25%) and the medicine, they ask for another claim form, more records from the doctor, etc. They stall and stall and then they say they have already paid for these medicines on a previous claim. I had to ask for a line-by-line break down in order to prove to them that there were items that have not been paid. It seems that once you start costing them money, they make you jump through hoops to get the claims paid. These are ongoing conditions, and I should not have to send in paperwork for something they already know is going on. My dog is 8 years old. For the first 6 years, while she was basically healthy, they were great with her minor claims. Now that she is olde

Positive Experience with ASPCA

We have been very happy with our insurance through ASPCA. It is a relief to know that our dog is covered if any problems come up in the future. I would highly recommend their insurance.

Jaws no more

My yorkie had two sets of teeth (the permanent set were growing behind the baby set that would not fall out). We started to call him jaws for his razorsharp teeth. The vet said they needed to be removed and surgery was scheduled. I was not sure if insurance would cover it since my policy was only 1 month old. They covered everything. Get dental rewards. It is worth it. I paid for the entire year in advance to also save money. Hopefully he will not have any more teeth issues but we will definitely get dental rewards again!!
