Probably one of the best decision ever in my life to get Healthy paw insurance for my Dog.My baby was diagnosed with cataract in one eye and was recommended eye surgery immediately.The cost of the surgery was exorbitant....somewhere around $3500. Luckily for me I had healthy paw insurance but still was not sure whether they will cover it because I heard so many stories of insurance denying payment by giving some lame reason but Healthy paw processed my claims very fast and smoothly as soon as they received the paperwork.They reimbursed me 90% of the cost.I cant praise enough about how courteous the staff is.They even checked on him after the surgery to see how he is doing.I highly recommend this company.My baby is very happy and finally running, chasing squirrels and ball without bumping into things.Thanks you so much helathy paw!!!

I've had other pet insurance before, but I saw a tip in a dog magazine for ASPCA and after reviewing the features, I got it, mainly because it covered more than my old insurance. My coverage seems high until I need it. Vet practices need many more sophisticated procedures than in past years, and they do cost! I've been pleased with the efficiency and fairness of ASPCA insurance, so I'm sticking with them. I recommend it.

I recently switched from one pet insurance company to Pets Best and a couple of months later my dog died unexpectedly from an undiagnosed lung problem (undiagnosed because she died before the test results came in). Pets Best denied my claim because it decided that a bone marrow problem she had three years previously constituted a "pre-existing condition". Obviously, the two are completely unrelated and Pets best does not allow you to speak with the people who review claims nor will they give you any information on the rational they use to deny claims.

After vomiting and diarrhea, my 3 month old lab puppy needed bloodwork performed and was hospitalized for two days with IV fluids. After he was happily home and healthy, I was left with a large, unplanned-for vet bill. I had signed up for the 60 free trial plan after registering with the AKC and I learned very quickly how amazing having pet insurance is! PetPartners was fast and courteous. We have multiple German Sheperds. After getting our second one a male, he developed severe skin infections, allergies to grasses, trees, weeds and FOOD. Without this insurance coverage I don't know where we would be!! It helps to know that you can count on ASPCA Pet Insurance to be there. They have always answered my questions, they have have been prompt with filing my claims. The vets office reports that they are always nice when they call to inquire about medical records. We have insurance on all three of our dogs. It is peace of mind for us. I would highly recommend them!!
