Dogs do have four legs!
After my dog had been determined that he 'may' need a leg surgery we checked with PetCare and found out that maximum payment for 1 illness is $3000. The surgery itself would have cost us that full $3000 and if he ever has another problem with another leg -- well that's our problem I guess!

Husband skeptic is now glad we have Embrace
My husband was very skeptical when I suggested pet insurance for our new rescue. He advised they will take our money and we will never see any in return. He is now SO GLAD I FOUND EMBRACE. There were several different companies to choose from and we are so glad we chose Embrace. It was recently renewal time and after much review of other companies we renewed with Embrace. They are just the best option and coverage for the price! I recently had to reach out due to a special circumstance. I have to admit i was not sure how the situation would be handled but I am very impressed with the result.
Thank You Embrace for giving us peace of mind for our new found friend. Not only did we save a dog's life she is returning the favor. This wonderful dog we rescued alerts our 5 year old son's seizures. She just started doing it all on her own. We are greatful for her and were are thankful that Embrace will help us take care of her so that she can help us take care of our son.

Great service
We've had Trupanion health insurance for our dog for 2-3 years. He had been very healthy, but developed cancer. He subsequently had 2 successful surgeries. Trupanion paid most of the cost of his treatment. They reviewed the case promptly, and paid the insured amount within a couple of weeks. Excellent coverage for the cost of the policy and super service. A nice feature of Trupanion is the ability to adjust the deductible and rate to suit your finances and the needs of your pet(s).

Best purchase I ever made
After having 2 cocker spaniels with no insurance and thousand of dollars later, I learned my lesson with the new puppy Sadie. We had her for a month and she ate everything she could. After 2 monthes they found she had a very sensitive stomach. With a pile of vet bills, we only had to pay a small part and the insurance paid the rest. What peace of mind we have taking her to the vet now that we are insured.

So Easy
We got the wellness program for our new puppy since vaccinations and other things can really add up when you visit the vet every 4 weeks. Submitting the claim was easy and it was for the entire amount we paid the vet. Great customer service.

Cancer can strike the very young.
I had previously not had insurance and spent considerable money on my dog who had many many issues. When I started again I decided to use insurance, initially I was frustrated by the abrupt change in premiums due to change in coverage and 'increase veterinarian costs'. I considered cancelling...thank goodness I didn't. Unfortunately I used the insurance. I could focus on my pet and not worry about the bills. My costs were astronomical, the claims people were great and I did feel that they truly were saddened that despite aggressive treatment my dog did not survive.
