One of our family members, Nickolas, has undergone treatments for a disease that is on-going and serious if not promptly and properly treated. Nickolas is a 13-year old miniature poodle-mix whom had never experienced disease related issues until recently. The best treatment with the truly best vet's is not inexpensive. Trupanion has been loyal, faithful to its agreement with us, and made this difficult time for our family easier as we know that the expense won't become an issue in whether to provide suggested treatment. We have a no-deductible plan and Trupanion has been superior in its service promptness, and understanding. I can state with certainty that I don't know how we would be able to care for Nickolas's challenges without Trupanion. I also cannot fathom not having Trupanion. We suggest to all pet owners we meet they should seriously consider Trupanion if the don't OR if they have a different pet insurance. This is a great company!

I have been very happy with Embrace for the past 2 years. The claims are easy to understand, clearly explained and the refunds issued extremely quickly- they are better than my own health insurance- much easier to navigate and I know exactly what is involved because of their precise easy to understand communications- thanks to Embrace I can rest easy bringing my rambunctious Weimaraner in- what ever she gets into-

My dog recently had to have some dental work done and wasn't sure what would be covered. I was pleasantly surprised. My vet submitted the claim for me late afternoon and I had an email 2 hours later confirming would would be covered. I got the cheque in 4 business days.

I have been with this company for over 7 years now - ever since I got my dog. At first they seem very reasonable. They process claims quickly and the prices are budget-friendly. At first. BUT, after about the fifth year they began to raise their rates dramatically. They say it has to do with industry standards, age of the pet, location etc. They offer higher deductibles to try to compensate, but they do not offer any sort of loyalty pricing for customers with them for any length of time. If you do choose this company for your pet ins. needs be prepared to get HAMMERED after the first few years. They get you comfortable with them and then its all bets are off. Feels a lot like bait and switch. Would not recommend.
