Poppy Broke Her Leg :(

Poppy and I fell down the stairs and she broke her leg. I rushed her to the emergency and an X-ray was done, it was a break above the elbow and she'd need surgery to fix it which could cost upwards of $5,000. I was panicking I didn't have that kind of cash on me so I called Trupanion and they arranged with the hospital to pay them directly and the surgery was performed. Unfortunately the leg couldn't be saved but through it all Trupanion was super responsive, helpful and compassionate. Best insurance experience I've ever had.

ASPCA pet insurance provides peace of mind for us.

Toby, our collie mix, is a rescue who came to us at @ 5 years of age. We hav eno idea what his life was like before us but he has had stomach issues and skin problems since we got him. He has visited the vet on several occasions over the past 4 years for these problems and our insurance has been great -- prompt and always very nice and helpful representatives. We are happy to have this coverage.

FANTASTIC

My pug was started on coverage on 1/1/14. On 1/3/14 I noticed he was drinking alot. I took him to my vet and he was diagnosed with an elevated calcium level which made us very suspicious of cancer and a urinary tract infection. $1600 worth of meds and diagnostics later including an abdominal ultrasound Darth Vader was diagnosed with a parathyroid tumor and bladder stone. Trupanion saved his life by covering 90% of this cost. He will be having surgery next month and I will be again availing myself of this wonderful service. I highly recommend this company!

They do what they say, who could ask for more?

Healthy Paws has so far come through with everything that they have promised with no hassle. My poor dog is suffering from joint problems despite being a young dong that may be immune mediated, and has needed many tests. Needless to say, these tests are not cheap. Healthy Paws has so far paid exactly what they promised when I signed up. A $100 yearly deductible and 90% of bills. They don't cover visit fees, but they stated that when I signed up. I am not rich by any means, nor want to order up every test in a blind panic, but I do want my dog to get better and using Healthy Paws has been extraordinarily good at easing my mind when it comes to my little dog. When my vet was delaying getting records sent to them, their customer service called me personally and offered to call the vet to get them, and did! I am very pleased with their consideration. Their forms are clear and simple, and it is easy to contact them. So far I would highly and wholeheartedly recommend them to any prospective dog owner. I hope they continue their high level of service in the years to come.

Much simpler than I thought! Great surprise!

Getting set up with Embrace was much easier than I was expecting. Embrace worked with my Vet to get all of my dog's information so I didn't have to be the middle man. They also keep me informed whenever they receive one of my claims and the details of the claim - what's covered and why certain things aren't covered. This was a lot simpler than I was expecting and I'm very pleased!

Best decision I've made regarding my pets!

Best health insurance choice for your pets!!! Okay, let me start off by saying that I have been a pet owner since I could remember. Currently, I have 2 golden retrievers and 1 Brittany spaniel. For years, I had them all enrolled in VPI, and after many disappointing experiences with them, I decided to make a change. After careful research, I opted to enroll my boys with Healthy Paws. BEST and SMARTEST decision I've made! The premiums are more than reasonable and the claim process is hassle free. Once you submit a claim, you will get your reimbursement within 3-5 days. Not only are they prompt with the claim processing, but their customer service is keen! They really do care about the welfare of your pet and you as an owner! They'll do follow up emails just to check on your pet's recovery and to check on you as a concerned pet parent. I am extremely happy with their service and will continue with them from now on. Thanks again!!!

Happy with the experience.

Glad we have insurance. Our original reason for getting it was because of a high energy puppy - we feared the dreaded torn ACL or some other expensive injury. It turned out he had ongoing stomach and GI issues and we struggled for over a year to find the cause. That, plus a strange allergic reaction caused our vet bills to soar this year. Once submitted, they were reviewed quickly and Embrace contacted the vet to get additional information so we didn't have to do anything. Checks were sent promptly upon completion of the claim. The claims staff was friendly and easy to work with - great customer service.

concern about Best Pets Insurance

I was always happy with Best Pets Insurance company. They are quick in sending reimbursement, they are excellent in communicating back regarding any issues, problems. They are knowledgable about issues and very efficient with benefit information provided to the customers.however, I do have a big concern: After being insured with them for 9 years, all of a sudden my insurance rate DOUBLED from what I used to pay. My dog got a diabetis and needs insulin. I would love her to be healthy, but she is getting old (what can I do???). I was anticipated that my insurance company will back me up for all the years I paid money to them. Oh, well.... I got a letter from Best Pets Company stating that effective next month my rate is double. When I called the company to clarify this letter, I was told: "your dog is very costly to us, therefore, your insurance is doubled. Not only it was doubled, I was told that I can't make any changes to my insurance policy either. It either what i have now - or nothing at all. This is very very upsetting to me, as I thought, that my insurance company is not going to stand behind me and when my dog conditions are detoriated I feel that there is no understanding and support from this company

Solid pet insurance from a solid company.

My ten year old poodle got into some kind of accident and fractured his neck. The vet bills were over $5K - a pretty massive hit for us, although it was totally worth it and thankfully he is recovering. My policy pays up to a certain point and it is my fall-back for catastrophes such as this, to defray some of the costs involved. This truly alleviates some of the financial pain, but the fast service and consistent, ongoing communication kept me in the loop every step of the way. I'm so pleased with this company that, even though we are prohibited to have referral programs in NJ, I recommend it to everyone I know because it is truly the best pet insurance (I've had a few companies already). I'm so pleased and relieved, a completely satisfied customer between the policy and the customer service. Thank you so much for a job very well done.
