I would highly recommend Healthy Paws. My dog needed to have major surgery and they covered 90% of the bill. If I did not have pet insurance through Healthy Paws then I would not have been able to afford the surgery my dog needed. Also, they process the claims quickly and are very nice when you call with questions.

Our vet advised us to fill out a 30 free trial with Truepanion when we took our 12 week old Boston Terrier for her first physical. We never expected we would have a need for this insurance but as accident prone as puppies can be, little Cricket jumped off our couch and broke her back leg. Cricket was taken to the emergency vet hospital and required surgery as well as a 5 day stay. This was at a cost of over 4000.00. Trupanion was unbelievably supportive in helping me to file a claim and showed real concern for us and our new puppy. Trupanion covered 90% if this cost after our $250.00 deductible and completed our claim within a week after it was filed. This was the first time a that something to good to be true was really true. Thank you Trupanion for being so supportive and caring during this time. We have since signed up for full membership and will continue this health ins for the duration of little Crickets life. ~ Regina

My cat Sam was treated for hematoma of the ear. He seems fine now. Embrace covered everything. They were both fast and friendly in settling the claim. Once before, I needed Embrace's help on a claim. It was in the $2,000 range and they took care of it. And at that time, they were also fast and friendly. By far, I think Embrace is the best! And they are so nice! D. Price Hyde Park, Ma.

It is amazing how fast they are.In the most recent claim my Vet emailed the claim form with the invoice so I literally did nothing. The money was wired into my checking account (because I use a debit card with Trupanion) in 2 days. My Vet told me they are getting Trupanion Express software so in the future I will pay 10% at checkout and Trupanion will do the rest paying my Vet directly. This company is the best by far. I have used VPI/Nationwide in the past and they were terrible.
