I decided to get pet insurance when I got a new puppy. My vet recommended trupanion. I have used it twice and it has more than paid for itself. I recommend it to everyone getting a new pet. My claim was filed Monday evening and I got an answer about my reimbursement check coming back to me. Great service.

After reviewing lots of different options I chose to go with Healthy Paws after reading outstanding review -- now I know why. Their customer service is phenomenal! There's no confusion about what they cover--it's very clear once you decide which plan you want. The claims I've submitted have been processed within one day. This was especially helpful recently as one of my dogs had to have major (and expensive) surgery. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. An annual deductible (as opposed to a per-incident deductible). Fantastic reimbursement plans (up to 90%). A comprehensive pre-existing condition review up front, so you know exactly what (if anything - and for our two dogs, we had NONE) pre-existing conditions might be excluded. Talk about peace of mind. Reimbursement is sent out in days upon receipt of the claim form. I could go on and on. I hope they are in business forever - simply fantastic.

It gives me a sense of calm knowing I can get the best care possible for my Shih Tzu/Maltese dog. Every animal is not perfect and when it comes to illness an animal can become more compromised. Trupanion works for us and I am pleased with the program.

When I had VPI, it seemed that very little was considered "allowable"! Then, they had a deductible for every condition, every year. That is $50 here and $50 there, so you never got anything back. Then they'd change the policy, to top that off. Their annual prices are astronomical! I am so glad that I made the decision to go with Pet's Best. It took me months to decide, but let me tell you.... don't wast your time and money. Just try Pet's Best. I'm not sure how long it took to handle the claim. Max 1-2 wks, but it may have been 1 wk or less, which is what I'm putting!!

Don't really have a claims story, but I'd like to say that I LOVE this company(!) and I recommend it to every pet owner I know!!!

Good customer service with pleasant people on helplines. They processed my claim quickly. Sadly, I had a major expenditure that was not covered as it was discovered during the waiting period, but overall an important resource to have if one has pets.

This particular claim was processed very quickly; direct deposit made things even faster - just days. My other claim is still pending and was submitted the same day - I haven't received any further communications about this other claim since... I would have liked more detailed explanation on both claims viewable online because if additional information is needed by the Vet then I can make a call to push things along. VIP Pet Insurance handle this process much better and that was many years ago when technology wasn't at all what it is now. Theresa I'm halve satisfied with the process so fare. I cant recommend Embrace yet as your 1 for 1 on claim processing and communication.
