The only Pet Insurance to buy.

Having spent over $10k on my giant schnauzer's on things we never expected and were not breed specific I can tell you Pet Health is not unlike ours. You never know what you'll get. As soon as we rescued Belle, a Standard Schnauzer, we bought Embrace Insurance so this time we are ready should anything occur. I LOVE that this is totally customized for my preferences and my dogs needs. The service is top shelf and they really care!

Great coverage, fantastic customer service

I went seeking for pet insurance after we got our precious Dalmatian puppy. We previously had a dalmatian that I did not have insurance on because I work at a animal hospital and with my employee discount never thought it was needed. That was until he had an injury that our Dictors could not repair. $18,000 later need I say more? Our hospital had always endorsed VPI pet insurance but when I decided to look for a policy I came across Healthy Paws. I liked the coverage and the deductible options they offered. Very little restrictions and what they do restrict I feel should not be an insurance company responsibility but the pet owner. The ease of claim submitting, the fast paying on claims and the customer service, I am completely satisfied with Healthy Paws!

Incredible! Fast response!!!

I submitted my first claim with Embrace a couple weeks ago; I have to say I am so impressed! At first I wasn't sure on how fast my claim would be processed,but not only I am impressed with Embrace I am actually looking forward to my next claim. My total bill was $256.00 and my refund was $244.00, received within a week. I also have the option of direct deposit now, which will make the claim process even faster. Embrace has followed up with me before processing the claim, during the processing of the claim and after. AMAZING!!! Excellent customer service. I have just referred Embrace to a few friends and I will continue to do it. Very pleased!!!!

Best Pet Insurance A++++++++++++

My dog Bo has had Healthy Paws for around 2 years now and had to have both of his knees operated on. Healthy Paws processed his claim quickly and I was reimbursed with in a week of his surgery. He would not of been able to have his surgery if it wasn't for Healthy Paws. Their customer service is outstanding and everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful.

great insurance

We got Trupanion when we got a puppy almost 4 years ago. They have been really great with reimbursement. The premium is now about 50 dollars a month but that includes a special rider for hip dysplasia. Our dog is very playful and curious so she tends to find trouble and on top of that she is sensitive to many products. To make a long story short she was been to the vet many vet times. Each time we have submitted a claim and got 90percent reimbursement. They are fast and friendly. I highly recommend them to folks who have dogs like ours.

Used to think Pet Insurance was silly

Having never been a dog owner, I used to think that Pet Insurance was silly. Then we got our first dog, a pure bred handsome Giant Schnauzer, Mack. Within 6 months of age, he had been to the vet several times for digestive issues. At that time we thought if this contines, maybe it's time to consider insurance. After doing our research, we decided to go with Trupanion. It's the best thing we every did. His digestive issues went away, but at 4 years of age, he started having siezures, and 4 years later we are up to a couple of hundred dollars a month in medication and medical tests regularly. Every claim that I have submitted for Mack has been processed within a couple of days, and never any quesitons asked. Without this insurance, I'm not sure Mack would have the quality of life that he has now. We insure 2 dogs, and it gives us great peace of mind. Thank you Trupanion !!

Peace of mind when needed

Our Chessie had been having a problem with his knee for several months, and when our regular vet recommended a specialist for the surgery we did not hesitate because we felt confident we would get good coverage from our ASPCA plan and we did. Sure it would have been nice if the allowable amounts had been higher, but a good two thirds was covered with our 80 percent payout. We have filed other claims over the years including claims for well care and are happy with our benefits. Finnigan is very important to us and ASPCA has called to check on Finn and his progress following his procedure and his recovery period which is still ongoing at this point.

Trupanion review

Been a pretty decent experience so far.. Harder to start as what was being said to me, was not being "written" down in my policy file - seems to have changed now and it's a lot better

Wouldn't Hesitate To Buy Again

I adopted my dog 11 years ago, and with the adoption came 30 days of sheltercare. We decided to purchase the Quickcare Gold (70% -$50 deductible). The sheltercare was only for illness, and of course he had a minor eye accident that was entered into his records. So when we got the better policy it was considered a pre-existing condition. We were able to get the pre-existing condition removed by showing that he had no issue with is eye for 6 months. Our first submittal was for eye surgery on the other eye by a specialist. The bill was over $1,600 and they paid the full amount less the deductible. In his last 7 months he was diagnosed with Lymphoma and dilated cardiomyopathy. Our bills far exceeded the limit for the Lymphoma treatment so they paid the full $3,000, and we got over $2,700 for the DCM. The one item they would not pay for was the holter monitor. We never asked if it was covered, and I think it's a rather advanced test for a pet, but it was worth it for us. We did not submit paperwork for the later 2 conditions until after he died and the policy came due again. They gave us 90 days to submit the bills and also credited us for part of the coverage since he had died before the end of the policy. The price of the coverage went up from about $240/yr at the start, 11 years ago, and I think the last bill was going to be $395. It took a while for the payment of last 2 conditions, but we submitted over 50 pages of medical history, invoices and payments. If I ever g
