I have found Pets Best Insurance to be what they say...the Best! My claims are processed timely and the customer service is friendly and helpful. My Vet recommended this insurance and it was the best move I ever made for my "Squeekers". I have friends who have complained about their choice of Pet Insurance and I make sure they know about Pets Best.

I did my homework on pet insurers available in California and these guys have the least fine print and "gotchas". If you are seeing prices that seem too good to be true, THEY ARE. Terrible experience with a lower-cost provider who shall not be named (based in PA). Fine print is very well hidden with a lot of these providers but Pets Best stands behind what they promise to deliver. Love love love the quickness with which they pay claims. Had a super expensive bloat claim right after signing up and they paid it... FAST! Colossus and me thank you!

My shiba inu, Sulli, is 2.5 years old. He had a laminectomy done when he was just over 1. The pins that were put in at that time had to be removed because they had shifted and were irritating nerves in his spinal canal. I decided to get pet insurance for my two dogs, 5 month old westie and 10 month old Maltese / mini schnauzer mix. Thank God I did because 2 months later my baby Westie needed hip surgery. His hip needed to be removed due to necrosis. The surgery was over $3200.00. Healthy Paws processed my claim fast without any problems or issues . I received a check within 10 days. They also followed up with me to see how Westin was doing. I didn't have to worry about insurance on top of my recovering dog, the process could not have been easier, just submit the bill and a check comes within a week or so. I was expecting them to not cover something or give me problems , but that never happened. I am so thankful I made the decision to go with Healthy Paws pet insurance . I did my homework before choosing a plan and their plan covers the most and is very affordable . For around a dollar a day your pet is covered.

I bought pet insurance for our puppy as son as we adopted her at 11weeks of age. I purchased the 90% policy from Healthy Paws after researching reviews of several different companies. Other companies wanted to charge more because of her breed (Cavapoo, cavalier King Charles spaniel/mini poodle mix) because they are prone to health problems. Healthy Paws did not charge based on her breed, which I appreciated. They also had a yearly deductible rather than a per incident deductible which also appealed to me with no limits. Three weeks ago she became very ill with an intestinal infection. I ended up at an emergency clinic with an $842 bill to diagnose and treat the infection. I had only paid two months of her insurance (35.90 per month). I called customer service who told me exactly what I needed to send to process the claim. Once they received all of the required paperwork, my claim was approved within a day and I received my check within three business days. I was reimbursed exactly as described. I had to pay the $100 annual deductible, the vet exam fee and 10% of the rest of the bill. I received $576 back almost immediately. They also sent a personal email inquiring about her recovery. Healthy Paws has proven to me within my first two moths of pet ownership that they are well worth the money and they deliver their services as promised in a timely manner.
