Healthy Paws continues to astound me in their speed of processing claims. A couple years ago our dog Mickey had a severe and life threatening reaction to rattle snake vaccine - Healthy Paws processed his emergency claims within a couple days and we had our reimbursement within a week. This past week another of our dogs, little Frodo, had an emergency splenectomy, and his claim was processed in 1 day. Unfortunately, Frodo has been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. With Healthy Paws in our corner, the one thing I need not fear is being able to say YES to any treatment our vet recommends. They are remarkably compassionate when I call and always follow up to check how our babies are doing.

My Yorkie had some baby teeth that needed to be removed since they didn't fall out on their own and at the same time that he was under anesthesia we went ahead and got him neutered. We did not want to put him to sleep twice. Well no problem our wellness plan covered all the expenses. I am so pleased with the prompt claim processing the very next day we got our claim approved. I cannot begin to say how grateful I am that we have Pet's Best Insurance! We had never had pet insurance before and even though we had always had many pets over the years the vet bills had never been excessive--until my last beloved dog, a Boxer, developed cancer. The vet bills for that were absolutely horrendous--and it was all out of pocket : ( Around the same time my last dog was sick my former neighbors three beloved dogs all got sick (different conditions) at the same time. He did not have pet health insurance either and he ended up losing his home because of the staggeringly huge vet bills. He could not pay his mortgage and all the vet bills too and he choose to try to save his beloved dogs. Sadly his dogs all ended up dying anyway. After my former neighbor got back on his feet and was in a position to have pets again he told me that this time he would get pet insurance. When we got our current dog, a Boxer/Afghan Hound mix, I too was worried about the possibility of unforeseen vet expenses because of what had happened with my last one and what had happened to our former neighbor so I called him to ask what insurance he had gotten for his new dogs and he told me that he had researched and compared all the companies very carefully and that he had gotten Pets Best because it really was the very best one. So we bought a Pets Best policy for our current dog. Since he was young and healthy and we took such excellent care of him the policy was more for our own peace of mind. We didn't think we would ever have to use it for many years to come. Were we ever wrong! Not long after buying the policy our dog started developing all sorts of different health conditions--countless tumors/lumps/growths with all sorts of different causes which have required countless biopsy's and surgeries, countless different infections with countless rounds of antibiotics and antifungals, an intestinal obstruction from swallowing a foreign object, uveitis which required medications, allergies and immune problems, glaucoma which requires ongoing eye medications, pancreatic enzyme deficiency which now requires ongoing enzyme supplementation, and that is only a partial list--there have been so many things that have gone wrong with him that I cannot even remember them all. My friends questioned my sanity for getting pet insurance on my latest four-legged boy. But given what I was hearing about Labs and issues I enrolled when he was very young. Unfortunately he's had bilateral elbow dysplasia on his front legs and the first of probably two ACR surgeries on his rear legs. My doggie was having diarrhea and throwing up, so we took her to the vet who did diagnostic imaging. The vet said my dog's gall bladder was severely distended and she needed surgery immediately. We were able to get her into surgery within 4 hours. The entire ordeal was very expensive, but I'm glad I had insurance to cover a portion of it. ASPCA insurance paid out quickly, so I was able to recoop some of what I had to lay out. It was great having that peace of mind! The best part is that my doggie is 100% healthy again, and is doing fabulously well!

Every claim with Embrace is starightforward and simple. Instructions and communications are clear and processing is efficient. Whenever I call, I speak to someone who is knowledgable and helpful. Also, I enjoy the savings by using the wellness rewards program. Have recommended this company over and over again.

A few months ago I got my puppy. He is this loving little creature I cannot live without (corgi mix). To me he is the best of the best. So I was ready to do everything in my power to make sure this little guy had and has everything he needs, from food, toys, the best VET I could find and insurance coverage. I was recommended to look into insurance coverage by his VET and her assistants. They told me you never know what could happen and the insurance can come in handy. After much research, I decided to insure my puppy with Nationwide. I chose their whole pet with wellness plan. I have to say I am very impressed. My Vets office sends over the claim, within 2 days it is already in the system and approved, within a few days I have a check from nationwide for the amount that was covered. Coolest part is when you log onto your account on their website it tells you exactly how much you will be receiving in check, how much was approved, etc. Yes of course like any insurance they don't cover pre-existing conditions but everything else they take care of.
