I recently submitted my dog Charley's bill for routine annual veterinarian services and was glad to receive prompt reimbursement. I have to admit knowing that these services were covered by his policy was an incentive for me to get him to the vet when his shots were due.

My dog has had several illnesses and an injury which was wasLife threatening. Not only were my claims handled quickly and efficiently,the customer service advocates were very concerned. I have been so pleased with their service.I wish I would never need them, but when I did;they were terrific.

Our young Rottweiler had a successful major TPLO surgery 5 months ago. Embrace processed and paid the claim in a smooth and timely manner. So, when my clumsy girl twisted her now healed up leg and tore the meniscus in the same knee, I was upset on so many levels. She was unable to walk or stand, intense pain made her immobilized. She needed a wholly unexpected surgery to remove the torn cartilage. So grateful that it was covered by Embrace with their smooth and flawless service. It was so helpful to not worry about the insurance/financial impact of the injury and be able to attend to the care of my girl instead. Happy to report she is up and about without pain!

Maelee (lab-golden mix) was in an accident in the summer of 2013 at 7 months old.She was in intensive care for 7 days, the hospital bill was way beyond what I could pay and Trupanion paid 90%. Maelee recently had a fungal infection from her accident and Trupanion paid 90% of that bill as well. Maelee has several different medications that she takes monthly one of them is $280. every 20 days and Trupanion pays 90% of all her medications related to her accident. I am very grateful to Trupanion for all that they do and I tell everyone I meet to get Trupanion. Note I have always asked the vet if I am doing the right thing by keeping Maelee alive and because she is only 3 the doctors all feel she has a fighting chance. Thank you Trupanion!

My cat Turbo started losing weight and eating me out of the house! He became so skinny, it was obviously time to see a veterinarian. My vet had several blood tests done, they were all normal. He then had an ultrasound, CT scan, Biopsies, and more blood tests until finally, after several weeks of testing and many vet visits, Turbo was diagnosed with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, a rare disorder in cats. Turbo's life was saved by Nationwide Pet Insurance because had it not been for their Whole Pet with Wellness plan and coverage on Turbo, I wouldn't have been able to afford all the vet visits and testing, and Turbo would not have gotten the care he needed and probably would have died. They processed Turbo's claims within a week after I faxed them to them and never once did they question the claims or the charges. They actually paid 90% of every claim submitted, and believe me, there were many! Now Turbo has to take medicine the rest of his life but will recover and lead a happy, normal life.
